Have You Signed the Petition for Ron Paul's HR 2755?
Submitted by getusoutoftheun on Tue, 01/27/2009 - 19:40
End the Fed is trying to get a million signatures for Ron Paul's "Abolish the Federal Reserve Bank Act" that he is going to reintroduce this April. End the Fed wants everyone to help gather signatures. This is not an electronic petition - there is a printable brochure and petition to hand to people on the End The Fed site. Come on Folks we can do this. Let's show DC that not all of the American people have been dumbed down by the media.
Please send your petitions to the address at the bottom of the page.
Thanks for your time!

Consider these.
not as an alternative to the petitions, but in addition to them.

Send them to whomever and however many you wish; the more the better.

petition?
I've signed thousands of petitions and nothing has ever become of any of them. does anyone really think this will mean anything?

Every one is frustrated
I know that being ignored is frustrating but Ron Paul said that politicians come up to him and say things like "I wish I had such a devoted crowd" Not only are we letting him know that we are behind him, we are showing DC that we understand the Banksters hijacking of the American taxpayer. Steve Vincent of End the Fed told me that when he asks people for signatures he gets an overwhelming response from strangers wanting to know the truth. People are just waiting for people like us to show them some truth.
Just print out the brochure and the petition staple them together and send it to five people that you know of that are interested in banking or economics and this movement will spread.
JL---nothing will ever come from signing a petition.
But, imagine if no one did. I always think about the irony of this---we know that our efforts through "normal" methods will result in zero gain, BUT we also know that if we stop trying at all, we are simply giving up.
I personally don't sign petitions after learning that people can paid good money for "lead collection" and that "politically active" is a marketable demographic.
Ron Paul does not require our help to introduce legislation and all the signatures in the world won't find him a co-sponsor or open ears in congress. But, if it makes people feel good--they should do it, can't hurt.

It was the outcry against amnesty ...
That led to its defeat....petitions do have an effect when the numbers are massive enough to instill fear in our elected leadership.

Keep this crap to yourself.
If you are going to stand around that is your choice, but why not stand around somewhere out of the way. You are no different than those I have heard all my life, whining like a bunch of whipped babies, "But there is nothing we can do".

Don't even pull that on me bubba. I've done more for this
movement than most people ever will. The fact is, there are far far far better ways you could be spending your time. The only thing that's going to defeat this new world order is personal courage and brutal honesty, part of which is clearly uidentifying those tired old methods we have proven time and again mean nothing. Don't get mad at me because petitions are meaningless. Gather signatures to get on a ballot if you want signatures, then run for office and make changes. Or start a libery class, or give away 100 educational DVD's a month, or start a website, or sometging that you've never even thought of. Because, and this is the bottom line, Petitions DO NOT WORK! Letters DO NOT WORK! Diggs DO NOT WORK!
But you what does work----the collective efforts of all those people collecting signatures and cracking open some eyes. The documents are meaningless and will land on deaf ears, but the spark of curiosity stays lit in more and more people. I'm not going to get on here and say "yeah, that's great, everybody do it" because most of these folks already know what the "sign here" conversation is supposed to teach. If they feel this is a good tool to reach others, than they should use it---just don't expect it to actually effect change in the way you expect.
Did I say not to bother, NO! I said they don't work. Read man. oh and , WAKE UP!!

Then help us soften up the target with these:

Join the "paperwar". This is a new way to "petition". Hard copy, tons of it.
It is a numbers game. Public opinion WILL move them and it has been proven that it does repeatedly, but THEY have controlled the "opinion" all along to get what they want.
Apparently you haven't looked at my link yet. It is a simple one sheet of paper wakeup tool for your neighbors with an action step included. More info here: http://restoretherepublic.net/fireant/
This is merely the first step in retaking the "House". Fill that corrupted place up with so much paper they can't move in the hallways and wake up your neighbors at the same time, as well as go around the MSM. It's not presonal sir. I totally agree new methods are required. "Petitioning Congress" is not limited to signing a petition, but we have to hit from all angles in order to get their attention, which will culminate with marching on Washington I suspect.

Thats funny...
I thought I seen something on the news about this the other day.
If they want MY vote, they need to tell me why they are better than the other guy, not why the other guy is worse than they are.
Your comment reminded
me of something I saw on a commercial the other day, though off-topic:
a commercial extolling high-fructose corn syrup!!! A young woman wanted her boyfriend to taste her popsicle...he wouldn't and said something along the lines of "No...ya know it has high-fructose corn syrup in it." She says, "So? What does that mean?" After a pregnant pause she says something along the lines of, "..that it's sweet, made from corn?" He then takes a bite...
I was speechless...
