Kucinich the mayor

The city of Cleveland went into default during the two years he was mayor and he was not reelected in 1979.

In 1982 he reported an income of $38 for the whole year! Some businessman. What an ass.

HUMILITY AND ADMISSION

of ignorance or willingness to admit learning and understanding is at the root of our problems. These media hacks, politicians, lobbyists, and others have spent their entire careers becoming bound to their prior beliefs and the agendas they have been bought and taught to push. It takes an amazing person to first recognize they are wrong, let alone make the step to admit it and make changes. Dennis Kucinich discusses the FED in much the same way as Dr. Paul, but he is still on a complete disconnect that the greatest socialistic contribution he could make, is to reduce government and let the people earn, save and spend their money how best they seem fit rather than have special interest groups waste and spend us into the disaster we face now. THE EDUCATION PROCESS MAY ACCELERATE AS THE INEVITABLE COLLAPSE OF THE PRESENT SYSTEM OCCURS.

Dennis looked silly

Glenn don't like socialism and took him to task on it. Glenn's expressions and body language cracked me up lol I don't think Dennis will go on his show more much after today.

Real eyes realize real lies

We want our country back

Every year is a year for Ron Paul!

Ya, that was great how

Glenn called him out by spelling the word socialism! S-O-C...

I don't get why Kucinich says that the "Fed is no more federal..

than Federal Express."
If that's true, then why did the federal government need to pass a certain bill in 1913 called the Federal Reserve Act? I don't understand this conspiracy talk...

It's nonsense.

If the Federal Reserve were truly private, that would be great. For Kucinich and his ilk, anything "private" is evil and ought to be government controlled. If there is anything redeeming about the Federal Reserve it is what little private characteristics it has. Instead of condemning it's governmental attributes, such as its monopoly control over the money supply, he attacks the private aspects. Unfortunately, I see that same line of reasoning among some Paul supporters as well. The reason to oppose the Fed is not that it's "private" but that it's governmental. It has governmental control over the money supply and interest rates.

"I now call the Federal Reserve the fourth branch of government." -Ron Paul

Lol

Excellent:

"If there is anything redeeming about the Federal Reserve it is what little private characteristics it has."

And amen to this:

"For Kucinich and his ilk, anything "private" is evil and ought to be government controlled."

--------

"Instead of condemning it's governmental attributes, such as its monopoly control over the money supply, he attacks the private aspects. Unfortunately, I see that same line of reasoning among some Paul supporters as well."

Ya what are some of the people on the DP drinking? Kool-aid? By agreeing with this, they imply that they want the private aspects nationalized--they want the gov't to be in charge of all the banks in the country! Stupidity...

As if..

As if the Federal Reserve is not already a government.

"I now call the Federal Reserve the fourth branch of government." -Ron Paul

Because he is pro-government

Kucinich must think this is a good argument against the free-enterprise system. In reality the blame for the Federal Reserve should solely rest on government for it was the entity that ushered it in. It is like blaming the 'evil' corporations because they are getting subsidized with tax dollars. The problem is the hand that gives, not the hand that takes.

That's a great point

The only reason that Dennis doesn't like the FED is because he believes it's somehow not 'federal.' I don't know where he comes up with that...I've seen no evidence to substantiate that position.

If he did think it was federal, he would have no problem with it.

I know it is immature

but every time I hear "stimulus package" I feel like I am about to get violated with a cattle prod...

Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

or when you hear Nancy

or when you hear Nancy Pelosi talk about birth control stimulating the economy. Should not happen.

GB gives him a pretty good

GB gives him a pretty good jab after about 7 minutes...GB asks he he has ever worked for a poor person, Dennis says he works for the poor (because he is an elected official)....then when GB comes back he says, the only reason he works for the poor is because he bankrupt the city. You could tell it bothered him quite a bit.

Lol

that was good!
