~ World Welfare ~ 1.35 T.

Earlier, I posted a link in a comment and I thought it would be thread worthy. I see a lot of China bashing posts about how much our taxpayer's dollars go to subsidize them. So, being the wacky person I am, I thought I would do some research. The results are startling!

The data is the US foreign aid from 1946 - 2005.

Grand Total All Countries(1946 - 2005): $ 1,352,511,000,000 T

Top Recipients (In Billions):

1 - Israel: $ 152,851,300,000
2 - Vietnam: $ 101,865,600,000
3 - Egypt: $ 92,386,900,000
4 - S. Korea: $ 65,811,000,000
5 - U.K. $ 61,479,600,000
6 - Turkey: $ 57,129,300,000
7 - India: $ 55,608,900,000
8 - France: $ 54,992,700,000
9 - Pakistan: $ 39,533,800,000
10 - Italy: $ 37,851,700,000

A few interesting numbers:

Russia: $ 12,021,600,000
Iran: $ 11,632,300,000
Afghanistan: $ 9,422,200,000
Sudan: $ 6,424,200,000
Somalia: $ 2,428,500,000
N. Korea: $ 985,500,000
China: $ 218,300,000

I find things very interesting when you actually follow the money. I also find it interesting the sheer amount of money that has been spent overseas in some sort of "Aid". Hopefully, some of the chest thumping about China will relax. The battle is with the countries that receive the most money, but the war is with the Unconstitutional spending on foreign Aid altogether.

Yes, it is very interesting

Yes, it is very interesting to see the countries that receive the money. Some of our supposed "enemies" and countries like the Marshal Islands received 1.2B.
