I don't care for Mr. Blagojevich; however, I will say that I believe that Obama and Rahm must have been intimately involved somehow. There wasn't a shred of evidence to vote him out. The tape recordings don't mean a thing unless he was caught in the act. Otherwise it's all circumstantial.

No Shred?
For an impeachment, there doesn't need to be evidence. This isn't a criminal trial. Reasonable suspicion is enough to impeach. This is a good thing.
Blago made this argument himself today, as well as a few other howlers. The best one was where he was effectively saying, "Impeachment is rare. Therefore you should not impeach me. Think of the precedent it sets!"
I think about that precedent. Frankly, I like it much.

feel that he will now be a threat to them they will take the appropriate course of action. If he can be bought then that is what will happen. If they feel that a payoff would be an unreliable pathway then other measures will be employed.
