When House Republicans unanimously voted against President Obama's $800 billion stimulus package, was this the beginning of a conservative rebirth for the GOP?

They have a long ways to go to restore credibility

One vote does not show a new trend. After all a few months ago a lot of them were voting for the TARP.

It also appears that many of them were voting against it for the wrong reasons.

They knew they didn't have the votes to keep it from moving to the senate, so they decided to unite temporarily, only to look united.

It's nothing more than political grandstanding, with a few exceptions (e.g. Dr. Paul).
