dennis the man in china?
yea,fun link.btw: china had 239 votes for dennis? and only single digits for everyone else? that was the surprise upset for me thus far....
Also, can someone tell me why Obama is so popular worldwide?
I mean,I can definitely see prefering him to Hillary, but what I have seen of him in speeches and debates is alot of posturing and rehearsed quality to his answers, like he is 'trying to be politician' with planned body movements and language.
And I have not heard him particularly take a stand on anything-especially to differentiate himself a whole lot from Hillary. Except for the fact that he is not Hillary, which speaks volumes.
I don't get it-thoughts? opinions? beliefs?
agreed
agreed about china... i was surprised, too. i'm guessing it has something to do with how the media and internet is controlled there.
as far as obama's worldwide popularity, i think you can attribute it largely to the fact that his and ron paul's videos are extremely accessible online, and the image of a young, black president probably strikes a lot of chords with the different ethnic groups who would probably like to see a new face to US politics...
just some assumptions :)
