The FED has just tripled the money and people have the stupidity to think about weather cops are fat or skinny!! This is the reason Congress can pass the nation destroying laws that it has…people are not able to see what is happening…or really care.

There have been riots in many European countries even though some of their police seem as brutal as ours. The helmets these police were wearing in Geneva reminded me of Darth Vader's.

Americans don't fight much anymore. I don't know if this is a good thing, but I do know that in the 60's many were ready to hit the streets to fight the 'pigs.' They did it, too. Watch the videos of the 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago - the college kids and freaks made a good accounting of themselves, while chanting 'The whole world is watching!'

They were right. Moreover, they had a feistiness that is lacking today. I count myself among those without fight now. I was 21 in 1968 and might have been enticed to go to Chicago but I was in Boston, where there were other gatherings - sit-ins, rallies, and other non-confrontational activities. I don't know if I would have faired well in a melee. I don't like being hit by a club, or anything else, especially for an abstraction such as a 'good cause.'

I want to live peacefully and have since left the mainland U.S.A. for a small island in the Pacific. We are still under the U.S. flag, but are far, far from the action. I prefer this now.
