My vote for our "Official Beer" - Anchor Liberty Ale

It is an American IPA which is a quintessentially American style of beer created in the US. Not only is it a very tasty beer, Liberty Ale was first introduced on April 18th, 1975 to commemorate the bicentennial of the famous ride by Paul Revere.

The Christmas Ale and Burning River Pale Ale are among my all time favorites. I can't get those in Southwest Missouri, however. My new favorite is Longhammer IPA.

they have expanded distro all the way up and down the eastern seaboard....then out to Alabama....

We can now get it here in western Ohio......but i bring I few cases back from the Jersey Shore every summer!!!!!

I know Coors and Strohs tried to buy them, and they were considering it to get greater distribution, but now they don't have to. They better never sell out! Coors would turn it into some watered-down crap.
