I never saw John Galt as a patriot or his speach as a patriotic stand. John Galt talks about the condition of man, as he sees it, ALL MEN, human, nothing to do with one nation, but everything to do with globalization, for John Galt created his engine to save the world, not America. And perhpas he does save the world with the elites employing his engine in Atlantis?

To me, John Galt represesnts the creative, inspired, he is Howard Roake staring at a querry and imagining people living in harmony with the earth, or a Frank Lyold Write, or Henry Ford, or Edison and Tesla... the man who thinks with reason and calculates and appreciates the predetor in himself, his nature, he understands, intrinsically, in tune and he creates, he is a god unto himself as he produces for the masses who can never never repay him for the invention.. instead, people, so desperate, jealous, fearfilled, they crush the John Galt's, the artists, the inventors and thinkers. To me, Galt's speach was defining the alchemy creatives need to produce "gold, or water" out of thin air" Freedom Liberty Privacy for protection
