Look it over. I got this far and feel like there needs to be an "action item" as a final "Be it resolved." Any other input appreciated. MUCH appreciation to the posts this morning that lit this fire under me - props to Missouri and New Hampshire!
Resolution Acknowledging the Independence of Sovereign Individual Citizens of the State of Idaho
Whereas The Constitution of the State of Idaho, Article I “Declaration of Rights,” Section 1 “Inalienable Rights of Man” states: “All men are by nature free and equal, and have certain inalienable rights, among which are enjoying and defending life and liberty;” and
Whereas The Constitution of the State of Idaho, Article I “Declaration of Rights,” Section 2 “Political Powers Inherent in the People” states: “All political power is inherent in the people. Government is instituted for their equal protection and benefit, and they have the right to alter, reform, or abolish the same whenever they may deem it necessary;” and
Whereas the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States states the purpose of said Constitution, to whit: “in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity;” and
Whereas the Federal Government has proven derelict in all duties described in the praemble to the Constitution of the United States as evidenced by; 1. The granting and withholding of taxes collected from the citizens of the several States by the Fedreal government based upon un-Constitutional criteria, such as the existence of seat belt laws. 2. The existence of a private prison system that now holds the largest percentage of imprisoned citizens in the civilized world with clear racial imbalance, and a history of death penalty reversals based on DNA evidence, 3. The use of our State Militia as an extension of the Armed Forces, including shipping the personnel and equipment intended to protect Idaho's citizens overseas as invading and occupying forces, 4. The burden being placed on every citizen of Idaho to carry debt for the banking, auto and other industries which is directly harming the general welfare, and passe sthis debt, rather than libety, on to our posterity. 5. A relentless assault on the Constitutionally enumerated liberties by Executive Orders, Legislative Acts, and other actions of the various agents of the Federal Government, including but not limited to; the Patriot Act, the suspension of posse comitatus, the enforcement of “Free Speech Zones,” the Foreign Intelligence Survellience Act; and
Whereas the Federal Government continues to lay and collect taxes upon the citizens to fund the enforcement of said Executive Orders, Legislative Acts and other various actions of the various agents of the Federal Government which unlawfully restrict the inalienable rights of the sovereign individual citizens of the States; and
Whereas the Constitution of the United States, Amendment 1, delineates a “right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances” and such petitions have been duly presented, with no respose from any elected official having been made; and
Whereas the Declaration of Independence states; “When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the Powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; that to secure these rights governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed;” and
Whereas the actions of the Federal government consistently and egregiously impinge upon the citizens unalienable rights; and
Whereas the right of the governed to create a government is inexoribly linked to the responsibility of the soveriegn individual to withdraw consent from a government that no longer uses its powers for justice, or the securing of the rights of citizens, but rather taxes the citizens directly and through inflation and uses these funds to restrict the liberties of the soveriegn individual citizens of the States, to engage in tortore and other violations of International Law, to prop up an unconstitutional Federal Reserve System, and other gross violations of the public trust,
Therefore be it RESOLVED: The right of Individual, Sovereign Citizens of the States are hereby recognized as the ultimate law, and the right to withdraw consent to be governed by an unjust and unlawful Federal Government is coupled with a right, and perhaps a duty, to withhold any taxes or fees that aid in the unlawful activites of such a government.
Be it further resolved this Declaration Of Independence Of Sovereign Individual Citizens is not to be interpretted to be an act of sedition or war, merely a reassertion of the noble ideals of our Founding Fathers. When a Federal Government that is held to the Constitution is restored, the great Citizens of the States will willingly and generously support such a government.
