CHENEY WARNS OF NEW ATTACKS
Former Vice President Dick Cheney warned that there is a “high probability” that terrorists will attempt a catastrophic nuclear or biological attack in coming years, and said he fears the Obama administration’s policies will make it more likely the attempt will succeed.
In an interview Tuesday with Politico, Cheney unyieldingly defended the Bush administration’s support for the Guantanamo Bay prison and coercive interrogation of terrorism suspects.
And he asserted that President Obama will either backtrack on his stated intentions to end those policies or put the country at risk in ways more severe than most Americans — and, he charged, many members of Obama’s own team — understand.
“When we get people who are more concerned about reading the rights to an Al Qaeda terrorist than they are with protecting the United States against people who are absolutely committed to do anything they can to kill Americans, then I worry,” Cheney said.
Protecting the country’s security is “a tough, mean, dirty, nasty business,” he said. “These are evil people. And we’re not going to win this fight by turning the other cheek.”

Be Prepared !!!
Well, at least we can learn from past mistakes and get ourselves prepared physically and mentally for the next attack.
FIRST - DO NOT go into ANY steel reinforced skyscrapers. These buildings have, in the past, had a tendency to explode and disintegrate into DUST when heated with only the temperatures of a kerosene camp stove.... but they ONLY do this when it is terrorists who hit them with an airplane. OTHERS can hit them with an airplane and nothing happens... and other fires do not bring them down. It ONLY terrorist planes, which cause massive black smoke that causes this to happen. So your odds are fair.... but better safe than sorry.
SECOND -- If terrorists take over an airplane that you are on... resist and take over the controls. Clearly these planes are quite easy to fly and no prior experience is necessary. Evidently any fool can pilot a passenger plane and go exactly where they want to go with no problems.
THIRD -- Keep your cell phone handy so that you can inform NORAD that something is happening. Evidently our air defense guys take naps and go out on long lunches quite often, so it may be necessary to give them a personal call to let them know that an incident requiring their assistance is occurring. Don't worry... your cell phone should work just fine even if you are in the air.
FOURTH -- always keep your passport and/or drivers license with you. Evidently, even if everything else around you disintegrates, your passport will survive. They are evidently made with materials that are stronger than even titaneum. At least your relatives can be notified if your drivers license or passport are found..... even if not a trace of anything else remains.
OK..... sorry guys...... I just had to do it! I'm in a silly mood this afternoon.

MIC at work
This has something to do with General Petraus disagreeing with Obama's order to pull out a lot of troops from Iraq. The Military Industrial Complex (MIC) is pretty angry with him and they are "starting fires" to pressure Obama to stay the course. They are blatantly defying Obama's orders and are doing what they can to taint him and apply pressure. Cheney, (whom is heavily invested into the defense industry) is basically, publicly threatening a terrorist attack, and seems to be getting away with it. We will see if there is another "coo" from the MIC.

Don't forget about HR 645. While Obama plays lip service to being anti-enhanced interrogation techniques by closing Guantanamera, here we have HR645 that would create 6 detention facilities on military bases. So, that bill has to pass before Gitmo closes, because the detainees have to go somewhere.
