I went to Baby'R Us with my friend today and saw that there was tons of that flouride infested water located all over the store. And all of it said... with flouride! I told my friend never to get that stuff and he said "don't be stupid."
I looked at him and said, "If you fall down and somebody comes by to help you up are they stupid for trying to help you?"
I then asked the cashier why she doesn't swallow toothpaste when she brushes her teeeth... She was like... I dunno... then I asked another lady.... again... I dunno....

You hit the nail on the head with this comment. The idiocy of fluoride ingestion, and FORCING it on everyone by dumping this toxic waste into the water, is ludicrous, illogical, idiotic, and perfectly representative of American brain-dead-ism. Why, oh WHY do we keep poisoning our water with toxic fluoride???? Everyone needs to endlessly nag his local health officials and municipal water departments with petitions, and evidence as to why we must STOP fluoridating the water. Mail packets of information to your local officials and work to get water fluoridation put on the ballot for a vote. Then we bombard the public with the data through fliers and posters showing the havoc fluoride is wreaking on public health. It has been removed in many municipalities around the nation and if we really focused a concerted effort to educate the public in our communities, we could probably get it banned in a lot of areas (especially now when municipalities could save thousands of dollars by not having to buy the toxic waste byproduct from the aluminum companies).

About 20 years ago I was in the local drugstore waiting for my wife to finish buying some birthday cards, and I happened to see a jar of sodium fluoride on the shelf in the insecticide section. If was only a few bucks and I bought it just as a matter of interest so I could read the label and show it to some advocates of fluoridated water.
There were all sorts of warnings on the label along with the skull and crossbones poison label, plus instructions on how much to put out to kill rats and mice (didn't take much).
In the next town over they had been adding fluoride to their water for quite some time and many of the kids have these splotches in their teeth as a result.
They add chlorine to water to kill bacteria, and I suppose that fluoride would have the same effect being poisonous, so maybe that is why they add it to Nursery water.
My problem with fluoridated water is that it is a medical treatment, not administered by doctors, but by politicians against my will, and as far as I can tell, the mayor and city council who are treating me for dental caries are not even competent to manage the city government, much less prescribe medical treatment. (I wonder if Jim Jones took a vote before he administered poison to his cult members.)
My own opinion is that fluoride is quite toxic and even if not immediately lethal when added to my body will build up over time, plus may contribute to my chronic deterioration. Unfortunately it is hard to avoid fluoridated water. Water is an ingredient in so many foods in the grocery stores, so even if you don't drink the locally fluoridated water, you get a dose in anything that was cooked with water where they do fluoridate it. Go out to eat, and the food and drink can easily be laced with it.

as i understand it there are some naturally in the water, and they measure it so it don´t get over set values...
asked my doctor why they possibly add it in the US in the water. He had no answer..
I can´t really say for sure if it is in bottled drinks, but I would assume it must be banned there to...unless the natural water contains some...
apparently it depends on what soil the ground water is taken from... and we supposedly have decent low values here..exept some smaller places..Think they have to rebuild the water supply if it is over 1.5 ppm..
Just had to check... here in stockholm it is supposedly 0.2 ppm
and there is health risks according to one study already at around 0.75 ppm

These people trust only what they hear in medical school. jzneff is a perfect example of this type of puffed-up, arrogant, "know-it-all" person who is stuck in a mindset of irrationality, educated irrationality of course. jzneff, you drink all the fluoride you want, my friend, and you believe whatever you want about it. You can mire yourself in peer-reviewed journals for the rest of your life, but you are wrong about fluoride. Sodium fluoride is a toxic chemical that disrupts proper thyroid function (which is one reason why hypothyroidism is so prevalent these days), it causes dental fluorosis, and it numbs the mind making it malleable to all sorts of propaganda without feeling the need to resist or think rationally. This is in addition to cancer, DECREASED bone density (not increased as you have suggested), and various allergic reactions. There have been plenty of studies to show the dangers of toxic fluoride. Heck, the nazis used it on the prisoners to keep them docile. Your method of "reasoning" (calling everyone who disagrees with you a conspiracy theorist who only frequent "conspiracy boards") is absurd and rather annoying. You continually demonstrate yourself unable to grasp the truth as you pride yourself in your education and what you see as your superior understanding and knowledge. Well I hate to break it to you, but there are now thousands of educated dentists who have learned the truth about fluoride. It is not some wacky idea present only in "conspiracy boards". Yes, NaF is a poison in a sufficient dose. Anything is a poison in a sufficient dose. Ascorbic acid can kill you in enough dosage, but skip it altogether, and you get scurvy.
NaF is a lot like sodium Iodide...yes, very much poisonous when heavily dosed...but a little of it prevents goiters. Too little, or too much, can be very bad for you.
Sorry, but it took some "education" to understand that just because a gallon of something will kill you...does not mean an ounce is bad for you. That's a large example of WHY you need an education to understand biology.

I was talking to my dentist about fluoride in water just
the other day. He said that young children need it. I said yah but do they need to injest it. That was when he told me that he has bottled water brought in to his house and that he does not drink municipal water. I told him that as a dentist he should speak out about it. Long story short- he just weasled out.
