For instance, by agreeing to have them distributed at large, if someone such as as WND were to seek to make a deal with you, you might have difficulty controlling distribution of those works already in circulation. Of course, you could always draw more. One thing is, your work is time-sensitive to some degree. If someone likes your work, there is a constant need for more of it. So the loss of control of your previous work may not be devastating.
