Kellogg Boycott Underway

I've read links to the Boycott of Kelloggs on several sites and found this in a Google headline http://washingtontimes.com/weblogs/out-context/2009/Feb/07/p...

Buying Kelloggs is like buying slavery for yourself.

Why not boycott the

Why not boycott the government instead?

Kellogg's should have the freedom to pick and choose who they support, including changing their decision as well. Also consider the fact that cereal is very often primarily a food that is marketed towards children.

Kellog's is not the problem here. The problems are the politicians who do not believe in freedom, liberty and the right of people to decide for themselves how they live their lives.

...

walk and chew gum

"Kellogg's should have the freedom to pick and choose who they support"

yes, me too.

boycott Kellogg's and the government.

Order your collectable Kelloggs Phelps poster now!

You have until Sept to get your Michael Phelps poster from Kelloggs, three gold tokans and $4.99 LOL

That picture Kelloggs has of Phelps on the box of corny flakes is asking for a bong to be placed in it's hand... it so contrived, and my bet, Kelloggs sues the person who does that, for using Kellogg product. Meanwhile, Kelloggs is proffitting off the human Phelps...who needs to corportize himeself soon to protect himself.

Stupid, Just Stupid.

I am buying corn flakes just to stick it to the boycotters.

How ridiculous is this. I would bet most of these pot smoking advocates would jump to the Obama Youth Brigades if pot was ever decriminalized. They have little respect or regard for the important issues Ron Paul and others have been fighting for. And they certainly have no understanding of private ownership.

please don't feed the trolls corn flakes

Screw You

Sounds like you need a joint man.

If it's meant to be it's up to WE!

Your freedom to decide

what to put in your own body is not an important issue? I would bet you are very wrong that pot smokers would join the Obama youth brigade for pot decriminalization. It is important to try and repeal any unreasonable law that will ruin an otherwise good citizens life or improve the lifestyle of sick and dying people. Kellog is setting a presedent for ruining the chacacter of a person who has committed an act that should not be illegal. Although it is at this time it is a victimless crime. (there is no such thing) They are using this for thier gain at his expense after he made them much proffit. He did what he was suppossed to do for them. They should leave others to Rollo. I don't smoke but I do see the problem and the need to legalize. It could help save the economy and is much less damaging than alcohol. Not to mention if you haven't realized the reasons for it remaining illegall you have much study to do before making such statements. Wonder what they put in your cornflakes?

Right on chonk123!!

What's with the corn flakes standing for Kellogg's rights and not Michael Phelps?

Excellent idea

As long as Cannabis users remain invisible they can push us around as much as they want. Hit them where it hurts, in their wallets. Phelps has not been charged with a crime, nor did he fail a drug test. Until that photo is entered as evidence in a court of law, it is hearsay.

Ron Paul supports cannabis

RON PAUL SUPPORTS CANNABIS!! The US Constitution was written on Cannabis, the first flag was constructed of cannabis, the American Revolution could have NEVER happened if the framers were unable to free themselves from depending on Brittan. Cannabis is how they did it, for food (gruel), fiber, fuel, feed and medicine. There will be NO revolution without it.

Cannabis is worth more than gold and it presently sustains many communities in the USA.

Meanwhile, enjoy your genetically modified corn flakes and know, making a thin paste from organic corn meal, corn oil and water, dehydrating it and then baking it will produce healthy corn flakes for 10 cents to the dollar you spend on Kelloggs (who just saved themselves 100M not paying Phelps but robbing him, because they are proffitting off this by your own admission, of his opportunity by allowing the UK to expose him.

Nasty... but you enjoy by all means. Also Mr Kelloggs BELIEVES the world is way over populated, it's why he loves war so much. Kellogg did not support Ron Paul. Show mw whewre Ron Paul supports Kellogg?

Hey Dimwit

Kellogs is not denying that dufus from smoking all the pot he wants. They just don't want to associate with it. Do you want freedom then you have to agree with the right to not associate.

Exactly

A great many of us will not be associating with Kellogs. Perhaps someday the gommint will declare such junk food illegal. Then we can have another tempest in a teapot when some celebrity is photographed eating cornflakes (such a terrible example for 'the children', you know!).

man, who let the trolls out today?

Why insult?

You prove that those who insult do so because they have no argument. Since when did Kelloggs have any rights to deny anyone from smoking all the cannabis they want? They never did, so your argument is nonsense. As for association goes, they have set up a Phelps HOT LINE for all the calls they are recieving..so the association is there. Phelps should sue them for employing his name, but he hasn't got the Barry Dumham AKA OBAMA corporatization figured out.

My insult fits--you are a dimwit afterall.

I gave you the argument. Kellogs in no way is denying Phelps to smoke all the pot he wants. That is what I said, you just can't read straight. Are you all smoked out now? They are within their rights, as you are, to not associate with whoever you want. You are about as thoughtful as an Obama supporter. What would he sue for? "They won't play with me" l like a 3 year old. Come on brighten that lightbulb!

Kelloggs is already associated

And presently proffitting.

Sue for Name. Why should Kelloggs employ Phelps name without a contract by their own choice?

Why set up a Phelps Hot Line? Your saying Phelps has no right to stop Kelloggs from posting his name on their web page, which is getting more hits than ever? Kelloggs is proffitting off this.

I live in an area where cannabis is legal, brought to CA by the Libertarian Party, Steve Kubby, prop 215, Measure G, and the folks who fight for states rights and property rights vs corporate rights over peoples rights to freedom, liberty and the persuit of happiness.

It is a tax free capitaism with cannabis that sustains the communities here. Phelps should move here, goodness knows we can afford to pay him as much as Kelloggs... even more than Kelloggs.
