The amateurishness of the
The amateurishness of the video suggests a comfortable distant from the MSM, and that I can appreciate. There were two things that peaked my awareness - Dr. Paul had a different political tone than usual, and he had a lot of "uhs."
The "uhs" can simply be that he is ill or tired, but let's hope he is not too old. This movement is still young, and we need more leaders like him. I wonder how the 2010 elections are shaping up across the county. .
The subtle shift in rhetoric came when he lashed out against the 'big spending Democrats" and praised the House Republicans for voting unanimously against the stimulus package. Ron Paul's enthusiasm for partisan attacks is evidently lukewarm, because he continued to say that this all might all be too late, chiding the "born-again budget conservaItves." Asking, "where were we the past eight years . . . it was the last eight years, that had set this situation up." Going on to say that we cannot blame the Democrats.
That is important to remember he said that. First of all, the House Republicrats voted no on the stim package, now Dr. Paul comes out with this unusually high partisan attack. There must be some sort of political quid pro quo going on. My guess is the Repooplicans are concerned about their political future. With a new Democrat president, voting no on Debtor's bill might have made sense - politically speaking. Personally, I hope it's also the uprise of the RPRs (Ron Paul Republicans) in the GOP that might have the establishment neocons concerned. They're for sure starting to think about their political futures. 2010 elections are soon upon us, and although they act like they have seen the light, it is too late.

the Good Doctor tell us like it is! Thank God he is in Congress (even though he's actually MY president!) to report to us what is really going on.

Comment on Dr. Paul's remarks
At the end of the good Doctors talk he mentioned the college graduates who are worried about entering the job force soon.
Most of them very probably will be seeking employment from large firms.
My comment is; The U.S. college system is set up so the students that could have become self employed many years ago,, { Doctors,and other professionals } , currently have the same problems as home owners with high mortgage payments. Student loans to pay off.
In many cases they finish their education so far in debt because of student loans that it takes years to get out of debt, even if they do get a top paying job.
This is not talked about very much but personally I look at it as a victory for the bankers who are intent on keeping everyone, including the brightest and supposedly smartest in never ending debt.
How can we teach our kids to learn to support themselves without loans?
Well, in the old days we were taught to "SAVE" our money as kids. My own brother paid his first year in college with saved paper route money, later he got summer jobs and eventually worked hard to get his Masters degree and became successfully self employed.
My point is self employment should be the wave of the future in the USA, if we want to revive the economy without the bankers help!

Very true. In Britain we have a stimulus package which the Prime Minister Gordon Brown thinks is fantastic except nobody else really knows what it means. It has come in dribs and drabs. The French president has mocked his ideas and Jeremy Clarkson, a TV motoring pundit, has described Brown as "a one-eyed Scottish idiot" which is cruel, but tends to demonstrate the frustration of people.
We must all stick together in this against the money-chuckers who have no real direction. Brown gave £40 billion to the Royal Bank of Scotland. The stock then nosedived and half that money went down the toilet! That is apparently fiscal prudence.
