The best place to buy them

The best place to buy them is always near a bottom, currently we're near a top.

We may be

or maybe not. Currently silver is far below its high of last year. You can't go by the spot price either. The price gold and silver coins go for on ebay is a better index to study. Buyers are paying premiums considerably over spot because coins and ingots have been scarce for some months now. I buy on availability of both silver and the cash to buy it with.

Make the rounds

of any coin shops in your area, also pawn shops. You can do this by phone as well. Buy pre-1965 dimes, quarters, halves, dollars, and bullion rounds and ingots. Stay away from collector coins unless you are very familiar with them.

Coin Shows

Find local coin collecting clubs, they usually have an annual coin show. (PS buying a table here is a great way to sell your coins).

90% silver and pre-1933 gold.

I have not purchased any ...

But I have 300 1942 libety halfs in mint condition that have never been touched by a human finger.

As a coin they are worth the amount of silver in them ...

about $3.50.

As a collection they are worth much more.

Are you buying or selling?

Make that $4.70

At $13 per troy ounce, an uncirculated 90% silver half dollar contains $4.70 worth of pure silver.

Like I said ...

I am not looking to sell ...

I am looking to buy some silver coins,

I have the silver rounds and the gold eagle but am looking more ways to get more of my money out of the fiat money, so thought about buying pre-1965 coins, would like to buy a bulk amount.

I am not looking to sell ...

but if you are willing to buy at collector price I am interested.

What are we talking about?

I can publish them on ebay, but I have a feeling that collector price is not at a premium.
