How Do I Become A Delegate?
Submitted by Michael Nystrom on Mon, 11/19/2007 - 12:51
I'm glad you asked! For the answer, check out these two sites:
1) http://www.thegreenpapers...
2) http://www.republicansour...
Please note that these links have been changed from the previous one. The issue that several people raised with the previous link was that it encourages people interested in becoming delegates for Dr Paul to intentionally hide their support for Dr. Paul. Many felt that such a position is inconsistent with Dr Paul's principle of honesty.
Please note that the second link gets all of its information from the first, but is much more user-friendly, appealing to the eye, and much easier to navigate.

This is of the utmost
This is of the utmost importance. If you can spare the time and energy to become a delegate, DO SO! It matters. It really, REALLY matters. A lot.

do you have to be a RNC member..?
If you are a card carrying member of another political party (other than Republican), can you still be a delegate in an open caucuse state..?
I doubt it
You have to elect Ron Paul at the Republican National Convention, so unless you register as one they won't let you in.
I gave up being unaffiliated so I can vote for Ron Paul, so I'm sure you can too :-)
