ANOTHER great NH Bill!!
It seems William Denley of NH is on a roll, first with the impressive HCR-006 on States Rights based on Jeffersonian Principles, and now:
524-FN: AN ACT establishing a permanent state defense force
I've been calling for BOTH of these actions here in LA for some time, especially after the Army Corps of Engineers debacle you all know as "Katrina."
What we need in each state are governors and legislatures with some back bone, even if it is based on jealousy. We need states who are willing to ENFORCE the Constitution. Put every federali who is under color of law harassing the people and eating out their substance - IN JAIL.
AND, re-establish the militia to its proper role and keep it active. The only way for us to remain free, is to be armed and stronger than the government.

Wait a second...
Am I reading this right? It looks to me as if this is mandating that everyone over 18 years of age, will be part of this service. We need to make sure that in our efforts to rid the federal government of its corrupt powers we are not just turning the powers over to the states to do the same. I don't believe the State Governments have a right to my life any more than I believe the Federal Government does.
IV.(a) The inactive reserve state guard shall be comprised of all able-bodied residents of the state who are 18 years of age or older...
Diebold happened. RP's
Diebold happened. RP's numbers were artificially lower than most of us expected.
Why go to New Hampshire? Why not replicate what they did right where we are?
Can anyone tell me what the
Can anyone tell me what the heck happened in NH during the RP campaign?
The McCain machine was strong
As was Romney's from our neighbor to the south.
My guess is if RP decided to run 2012 - he'd take NH. There are still signs up in places (like on my car, for instance!)
Good for them.
Interesting that Mr. Obama is not mentioning any of this. He must realize how many states have declared sovereignty recently.
This is the sort of thing
This is the sort of thing that gets me thinking about NH as a potential new home....
