It's not hard to understand why Obama would want to push so hard to get this bill passed so quickly. The "Change" he preached is eugenics and the sacrifice he wants people to make truly is their "body and soul"! I am now speechless (for the moment)!

Ted Kennedy didn't accept his "terminal" diagnosis and save the taxpayers some money...perhaps someone could provide him some counseling on dying.

red herring
I think this issue is a red herring. Those who want the bill passed are trying to focus opposition on this provision. Once they have everyone howling about this one provision they agree to pull it and the opposition dries up and blows away. They get everything they really want and we lose.
Opposition to this bill should keep fundamentals at the forefront.

Devon, I 'm so glad you bumped this. I was wondering why no one seems to care how evil this is. Just think, Ron Paul at 73 years old, would have been counseled by the government about the end of his life two times by now. And many here on DP hope he will run for president in 2012.
I read somewhere that the democratic party was the party of death. I don't know about that, but the Kill the Elderly Bill, Obamacare, makes a person wonder.

Finally this is getting some attention.
As an "older" American, I'm very concerned about this. I don't want some bureaucrat deciding on my medical care or deciding what medications I take. In England, the elderly are given a death sentence, so to speak, because the government will not approve medications they need because they are too expensive. Many of these medications are ones we take for granted here in America. Putting healthcare reform in this so-called stimulus bill is incredibly sneaky - they know people won't stand for it if they find out about it. I've already written to my congressman, altho I doubt it will do any good. This is credibly frightening.

No Pun intended, but I cannot believe all this crap on Health Care was squeaked in this so-called Stimulus Bill/Package. My God do they know what they are doing to the American people? If they did they would surely know they are violating us, this is a big gang bang from the government all the way on the American people period. Oh well, all we can continue to do is make people aware, and tell them to Prepare, Prepare, and Prepare some more, because we are in for one hell of a raping....

It really doesen't sound like he is doing much law making.
Second- the article takes all of Tom Daschle's opinions and makes it sound as though they are all included in the bill.

Daschle wrote a book advising
how to get healthcare reform passed. He suggested putting it in a budget bill where no one would notice. Instead, it was inserted into the stimulus bill. Daschle may have very well written what is included in this bill.

that came out a few years ago. It was on page 145 or something and said exactly word for word what is in this bill. He also said how to get it passed was to hide it in another bill. Check Glenn Beck rerun of tonight and you will hear it.
