I think the key to raising awareness has to be rhetorical expertise. Knowing what to say. Dr. Paul has extraordinary expertise getting his message across and still is still kicked around by the even more extraordinary might and power of mass ignorance.

You have probably noticed how hard it is to take RP's message about Foreign Intervention. People are either trained Dems or Repubs and both parties love undeclared war.

Educating people about the corrupt money system does seem to get a little easier these days. I think being succinct and relaying the straight facts can start to work. For instance if you can clarify that Freedom and Sound Money are two in the same, then all you need to do is convince them that we don't have the latter. I think people start getting the picture when they finally make this connection.

I completely agree. In the past, whenever I mentioned Ron Paul's name, there would be hardly any response from the other person(s). Now when my friends are discussing the bailouts, I'll say something like "Ron Paul was right. We should have listened to him" and everybody seems to chime in and agree! This is followed by, "but what can we do?". This is my chance to bring up the subject of banding together, ending the fed, joining the Campaign for Liberty and becoming more active in the election of our officials. I also offer them copies of DVDs such as "Freedom to Facism", "The Monopoly Men", "Zietgeist", etc.
