I have read this forum and the Grassroots forum for quite a while before actually signing up,It,s a wonderful place to get news and links that are not mainstream,I love it.I feel some are right about the Fugly meat photo though.It does,nt bother me but,just yest my gf was looking over my shoulder an said ewwwww that,s Nasty.lol. A lot of people that i would consider otherwise intelligent,just are,nt realists? I,m a hardcore outdoorsman myself and swore i would never own a pc,well here i am and i took the wrong pill and there,s no turning bak now,LET,S GITTR DUN.I also read a few outdoors forums that i would think would be ripe for picking,They mostly mean well but are just misguided and misinformed,as are a lot. About this very thing. He is a young man of 19 and runs three web sites with tons of links. I have opened his eyes to what's been really going on and he is excited about getting involved. We briefly discussed finding ways to reach people and send them in the right directions to wake them. He claims to have more traffic than I can imagine and wants to learn and create. I will do my best to teach and learn with him.
This may take a little while for me, but I am going to give it a shot and see what happens. Hopefully we can reach and turn allot of heads.

I've been toying with the idea of personally bankrolling some commercials on local radio stations to challenge people to start thinking.

Here's my thought. The average American has been desensitized to truth. Television, public schooling, yada yada. Yet, with all that being said, I think most people still have a God-given intuition or discernment on things and can tell there is a real stinky skunk amongst us.

So, the first thing we do is to, very subtly, start suggesting that the smell they've become somewhat used to is NOT normal. Here's an amateurish :60 second radio commercial I put together to sort of give you the idea. That little girl is my six year old, Chloe. I'd have her on the front and back end with different copy in the middle. You write the copy DP.

We run these commercials in strategic places (like morning drive) on our local radio stations. A campaign by and for the people. I haven't had time to put up the www.ChangeMeNow.com website, so right now I have it go to CFL.

Another thing I think we should do is to have the copy writers and graphic artists come up with double-sided, full-color, business-card sized 'drop cards'. They would be the weapons we would use everywhere we go. Walmart, the gas station, church, school, bulletin boards, anywhere and everywhere. I found a place online where we can get these things - 5,000 double-faced, full-color business cards, delivered anywhere in the U.S. for just $50. That's a penny a piece folks. Or if you want more space, the same place offers 5,000 4x6 post cards for just $120 delivered. We can call them 'the seeds of liberty'.

These drop cards will list liberty minded websites, like DP, CFL, RTR, and more. You could pass them out to your Liberty minded friends, sort of like Johnny Appleseed. Call it the new MSM (ME Stream Media).

Advertise a toll-free number people can call - I have 1-888-NO-AMERO. Tell them to call if they'd like to voice their opposition to a new North American Currency, and then get their info and email them the scoop on what's really going on.

And finally, we need you graphic artists to come up with a killer 3' x 8' banner (full color) that all us patriots can have created and put up all over. They're just $48 delivered to your door! You can't buy better advertising than this. Put them up at festivals, carnivals, picnics, parades, overpasses - you guys know what to do!

We've got to get creative here patriots!

If we provide posts that 'grab' people here and keep them here without offending the hell out of them then maybe we'll get somewhere.

Keep in mind we can be a magnet to attract all those disaffected third party and Obama folks, but if there is so much flaming and attacking and calling people 'trolls' etc without 'intelligent' communication, we are turning people off and rightly so.

We are each a 'Statue of Liberty' (I heard this somewhere), so when you post or comment, be critical of what and how you choose to communicate.

That in itself makes a huge jump in consciousness. Those who choose otherwise could be 'boycotted' without a response, thus ignoring them instead of accusing and name calling responses, unless you intend to bump someone's good post. Rise above that! It will change everything here.

DP is my favorite site, however I have read Dr. Paul's writings since the early 90's and had the pleasure of meeting him 4 times. That being said, I find there are some offensive things on DP that will turn off many new comers.

1. Most people I know eat MEAT (animals...yummy) and in Texas BBQ is king. On the DP Home page is a slab of MEAT all bloody and nasty looking. BIG TURN OFF. Been on the front page forever i think. My daughter has told me 'dad that is gross, what are you looking at'....

2. Many of us DP comment writers take personal aim at people that are not fully on board i.e. If someone is learning of Dr Paul, and they also like Sara Palin, Mike Huckabee, Rick Perry, etc etc, and they visit DP and see their other favorites getting blasted with personal slams (i'm not talking about their political views or voting record, that's all fair game) they are less likely to stick around, and they form the opinion that we are close minded. I only invite hard core supporters to DP.

3. Some of the DP language and commentary is vulgar.....freedom of speech but we should set the example
