He didn't seem to be very energized in this interview. Just giving canned responses to her questions that all the interviewers have heard a dozen times before. He needs to work on keeping the message fresh.

I hate to ask the question, but does anyone else wonder why he keeps being asked onto the CNN American Morning show when it seems apparent that they don't really agree with him? Nor do they seem to get his point?
I'm just wondering who arranges these interviews, because it seems as though the interviewer is the last person I'd peg as a Dr. Paul fan. Hasn't she asked the same 3 questions for the past two interviews, or am I confused.
Don't get me wrong, I love that Dr. Paul is in the media, but it's like he's the dad who comes in at night and tells the kids that the slumber party is over and they need to go to bed.

Ron never ceases to amaze me. I just watched several news clips from today and he is so unflappable even when they never 'get it'. He went over how he would get us out of this mess, I don't know how many times. Stop spending a trillion overseas, use that money to pay down the debt and use some for infrastructure. And then the panelists say that he tells us what is wrong and why but not how to move forward. Are these reporters really that stupid?

Where did the "Stimulus" come from? Anyone know where I can get its history? 1,071 pages and $800 billion just didn't appear in a week's time (or did it?). I feel like it was being developed before the election, when the fat cats anticipated Obama's victory. I remember talk of a "new stimulus" being tauted by Pelosi, but this! This goes way beyond last year's $600 checks.

probably because they are the ones that wrote it. Dr. Paul said it wasn't even a typed final copy, there were scratch-outs and re-writes and handwritten penciled-in stuff, it was a mess. Shame on Congress for allowing themselves to have sunk so low, to be so unprofessional and irresponsible, and for violating the sacred oath that they take to protect and defend our Constitution. Shame, shame, shame!

Is it just me, or is he on the news 4-5 days per week? How many in the media knew that he was right last year, but mocked him anyway with the idea that they would use him for ratings after the establishment won? God bless Ron Paul.

I think it would be possible to teach economics (at least the basics on which everything rests) in 4 minutes, but the "idiots" you speak of might never learn it, even in a lifetime. I second kevinz's post recommending Henry Hazlitt's Economics in One Lesson. It's informative and boils down the truths very simply, yet even an expert could use this book. It's on the recommended reading lists of Dr. Ron Paul, Peter Schiff, and B.J. Lawson and I'm sure on countless others. It was written in the 40's but has been updated a few times and couldn't be more true if it were written today, kind of like Atlas Shrugged.
done deal, with more to come....even according to Obama.

Go to the earlier part when he answers her question on the tax reduction portion, and you will get your answer! 1/3rd tax reductions yes, but without spending cuts it is an absurd bill, and in fact includes tremendous spending increases!
In answer to her question on the propriety of those spending measures for immediate "shovel work", Paul states that the only way to make such a program feasible for the short term is to abolish the blowing up and reconstruction of bridges overseas, as a first requirement, to enable the alternative construction of infrastructure at home... not the ideal constitutional solution but the ONLY logical approach to the current bill, without which it is pure fuel to the fire of inflation, depression, and fraudulent seizure of the people's wealth through inflation!
His answer is sound and complete... it just requires complexity to unravel the perfidious attack on liberty which this bill engenders!

You will see jobs being created, you will see workers going to work everyday, you will see this infrastucture coming to existence.
But what you won't see, is other jobs being lost, more people losing their homes, less food on the table for the others.
Because you've simply taken wealth from a group of people, to give it to an other group. That is government spending through inflation. That is absolutely immoral.
If I have not made myself clear, please have a look at the book of Henry Hazlitt, Economics in One Lesson. He explains this and other fallacies very clearly.

I guess my "glass is half empty" side always gets SO IRRITATED with the moderators who have their list of questions and never LISTEN to what he is saying, but just keep asking the next question with a perky little tone, never having HEARD what he SAYS.
BUT, my "glass is half full" side knows that it doesn't matter what the plastic moderator thinks. What matters is that he keeps appearing so that he can continue EDUCATING, EDUCATING, EDUCATING the public. Thank God I have had the opportunity to know Ron Paul!

Government economic stimulus is like treating a patient for anemia by feeding him an iron supplement made from his own blood.

Yes, I heard that too - they're just getting started. I've
heard some very "liberal" economists say they thought this one was way too small - needs to be triple this size.

One good thing I noticed
is Dr. Paul looks healthier in this video than I a couple I had seen a week or two ago. More rested. That's a good thing, because we need him!
Alpacas - IT'S DOABLE

great and sounded presidential!
