Unlike Other Politicians, Ron Paul Answers the Questions He's Asked
Submitted by Michael Nystrom on Sat, 07/21/2007 - 10:54There is a very interesting interview of Lew Rockwell talking about his visit to Google with Ron Paul that you can listen to here (mp3). The interview is 28 minutes long. Here is one snip that stood out to me as I began listening. Lew Rockwell is talking about Ron Paul's recent Q&A session at the company:
"It struck me, as I listened to Ron, that he has to be one of the very few political candidates who actually answers questions. I was struck hearing Fran Townsen, Bush's anti-terrorism aide as she's been giving her little dog-and-pony show the last few days. As far as I can tell, she hasn't answered one question. Whatever anybody asks her, she just gives the next propaganda talking point. And that is of course typical of all politicians in both parties...
Ron's unusual - he actually [laughs] answers the questions people ask. That's very charming, and he can actually change people's minds. So he gave his usual, very radical libertarian answers to everything people asked him about, and including on things the people at Google don't agree with. For example, Ron's against net neutrality, and the Google company is for net neutrality. But he made a very good impression on people.
It is something we all know, of course about regular politicians. They never answer questions. They use questions to launch into long winded, vacuous, roundabout explanations about unrelated topics. The funny part is no one ever calls them on it, especially not the network news.
So if you ever, by chance, find yourself at some such Q&A of a political candidate who is doing his own dog and pony show without answering questions, you might want to speak up. Insist that you would like an answer to the question asked - even if you didn't ask it. Make the other politicians learn from Dr. Paul's good example!
There is much more to the interview, so listen here.

I have also noticed that Mr. Paul ansers the questions asked of him. Not only that, he genuinly knows what he's talking about. You could'nt ask Gulliani questions like that. He is a dope. Mentally, it seems that he never made it past high school.
Ron Paul's in depth answers are a pleasure to listen to as well.
Ron Paul is the solution!
GO RON PAUL!
