Debunked this yesterday by buying the same product and having his engineers look at. They said it was probably a hoax. But the fact that Google admits having the ability to watch and listen to us throught the computer is scary enough on its own.

How do I get controlled with a camera?
And wouldn't I know for sure it was there if they were controlling me with it? In 1984 there was no on/off switch on the screen and they communicated directly with them. No matter how neat it is, I'm not going there. Until they tell me I MUST have a TV I'm not worried. They already control enough minds with that box.

This is CRAZY if it's true but...
I'm skeptical cause this guy has a website he's trying to plug. Also there's just no freakin way they're getting that ballzy, if people really do start finding these things in their converter boxes, think of all the law suits, there's no way samsung would allow those to be installed, the liablity is too great and what the hell does anyone have to gain by watching people drool at their television. I'm not sure what to think about much of anything these days but I'm thinking this deal here is probably bogus.

I once worked for a cable
I once worked for a cable company initials b.h. that have had "cameras" in thier digital boxed for years. dont know what the boxes look like now but about 5 years ago when digi boxes first came out it had a hole in the front about as big as the head of a pen. As i remember it was selective about what it saw and I think heard. I get all this confused but as i remember it picks up the reflection of the t.v. on the back of your eye and sees what your looking at on t.v. i.e. are you looking at the blond or the product. dont know if that clears anything up but i dont doubt what the thread says one bit.
