Not only take your money out of the bank but try and get all the personal and corporate credit you can possibly take out and don't pay it back, and don't pay your mortgage or your student loans or your credit card bills. If you want to really wreck the system do all of the above.

Call me pessimistic, but I don't see the FED closing its doors because of some well-intentioned activism. You might as well take on the Mafia, since that is what the FED is - a mafia with congressional approval.

The video was kind of hard to hear at points, and there wasn't much new. We're familiar with Ron Paul's continued attacks on Bernanke, on fiscal irresponsibility and the insanity that masquerades as government in Washington. But they just ignore him because they can. It's a bad situation.

I applaud Dr. Paul for his unrelenting and vigorous attacks on the FED and the stupidity that prevails in Washington. It's just a real shame that nobody in power pays the slightest attention, or does anything about it.

Yeah I can't stand that all my favorite musicians are Obama supporters (Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Gov't Mule, Yonder Mountain String Band) I was listening to a recent Derek Trucks Band audience recording on the archive and heard him add libbing in a song "...just like Barack Obama told ya to." makes me sick.

I am very shocked by this. I already keep almost all of my money out of the bank, so it won't be hard for me to withdraw the remainder in such a case as a bank run or freeze. So it doesn't bother me a bit.

But what will be the real consequence of this? It doesn't seem to be at all presented as to what will happen or how exactly this is supposed to affect the FED.

I hate to be the pessimist, but at this point I can see no reason to believe why this will be of any good.

Please tell me why I'm wrong.

For anyone taking out a serious amount of cash, better check on your bank's policy. I've gradually been drawing down my reserves, but each time I'm questioned, they try to discourage it, offering other account deals; and I believe they can limit the amount withdrawn on one day.

I love the idea and the video/music but what happens if the FED pumps more money into the system to cover the run, does that just inflate the currency more and weaken the dollar more? This is a sincere question and I would appreciate responses. I just want to make sure I know what I'm getting into beforehand because I would like to do this and am all about ENDing THE FED.

I think that you right about what the Dead FED would do and you are right, it will only weaken the dollar more. But, at the same time, I would rather take my lumps now and get them over with rather then to wait and look back with 20/20 and wish that I had done something. Piss on 'em. Now or later.
