It's funny
It's funny that anyone in the "truth" movement is so obsessed with "truth" and "facts" can be religious. How can you accept talking snakes and magic floods but can't accept a building fell down on its own or that the government isn't made up of satanic worshipping jews? Maybe god brought down WTC7. That would shut everyone up if it was written in the bible. You can take your religion on "faith" without any proof other than a book, and don't give me any BS, there is no proof of god. The idea of god doesn't prove god, the bible doesn't prove god, don't try any of your hokey pokey logical games, there is NO PROOF OF GOD. Yet you accept that so willingly and sheeply, yet you question everything.
Also, anyone find it disturbing that Ron Paul was endorsed by almost every white supremist group in the USA or is everyone here a racist as well as a religious nut?

I wonder why there is so much more discussion/ outrage /obsession by "Christians" on homosexuality but no discussion on the immorality of our foreign policies of occupying and subsidizing the killing of millions of people around the world in our name?
How can these people also scream about pro- life issues but never say a word about killing millions of children in other countries? Is it only Christian American babies that count?
It appears they want to "exceptionalize" themselves and "demonize" anyone and anything that does not conform to thier so-called "Christian Values"

Lumping people who call themselves christians together is like blaming you as an american for the Iraq war.
The Iraq war an a lot of others are wrong. Many christians feel that way. Most people that call themselves christians don't act like Christ. The ones that follow Jesus will always preach because they are commanded to. To them it is good news, but the hearers may not "feel" that way.
People that follow Christ give up there own definitions of what is right or wrong and take up the bible's standards (ie the ten commandments).
If you don't believe the bible than it will be offensive at times when it goes against what you feel is right or wrong (which varies from person to person). I don't believe that a bang or an explosion made any life. If dynamite goes off in a forest there will not be a fully functional house too. You have the right (I believe God given) to disagree.
I agree this post though has nothing to do with his campaign for liberty.

If someone has issues about sexuality please consult either your priest, a health care provider or perhaps just pray about it.

Why should politicians talk about people´s sexuality?
To most Christian's it is a sin. So what?
As soon as ANY religion has a ceremony, calls it marriage and allows gays to get 'hitched.' That behavior is protected under the constitution.
Defense of Marriage Laws can't stop that. You would have strip out the bit of the constitution that protects religion in order to suppress the ceremony. (Not an option that is in anyone's best interests in my opinion.)
Just let them do their thing and call it what they want. You don't have to acknowledge it. In fact you can call it a civil union, a sinful union, or whatever you want.
In the end this boils down to the totalitarian and socialist argument that the state is society. This is not true, and no one should ever pretend derive their opinions on morality from government.

But to me the point is that everyone is a sinner. You go to church and everyone acts all "goody-goody" yet in their real lives they are sinners. Then they put on heirs like they are so much better than everyone else. An individual comes in off the street, distraught, looking for God and they find either judgement from the congregation or pity (the latest project), either way they are perceived as being on a lower rung than the rest. The problem with this is that many of those who are so active in the church are actually using the church as a sheild to disguise their wrongdoings.I sak you, which is worse? A person who isblatently evil, or a peron who is evil yet hides behind a religion? A true person of God would not do this. WWJD in the face of a gay person???

but it is irrelevant. You perceive that they look down on others for their beliefs and lifestyle, and you find fault in that. Fine. Give them the same courtesy, and respect that you would have them give to others.
Many devout Christians feel very strongly about this issue and declaring them to be judgmental will not resolve the argument. By using injurious words you simply alienate them and that serves no purpose.
When you are engaging in constructive debate you are attempting to create a consensus or at the very least find a compromise. In order to serve that purpose found your argument on mutually agreed upon facts and ideas.
A man can ever be expected to abandon his entire philosophy, however he can usually be made to understand yours.
Christians are concerned because they believe that homosexuals are eroding their religion. Simply point out that in order to endow the State with the power to force their religious ideals on other individuals, they would have to remove the guarantee of religious freedom from the constitution. They would be far better off teaching their children that the state is not the source of morality, and praying for those who they thought were in danger of going to hell.
As for what Jesus would do if he found himself in the company of a homosexual? I am not a religious scholar, and so I cannot presume to answer for him, but I would be surprised if the Son of God would ever mistreat any individual.

I agree with you that
we should have religious freedom. I am a Christian, so please do not presume I am not. I am only saying that all individuals are sinners, but it is those; those who so often declare themselves the most faithful, who purposefully are evil to others. To me that is the most evil sin of all, to declare oneself a servant to the lord, only to disguise ones evilness in holy words. Frankly, I feel that although this is not all who follow the faith, it certainly is predominant.

How do you know that everyone is a sinner? Your statement that everyone is a sinner is not a factual statement. Define sin or sinner please.

PS. Don't get me wrong; I understand where you're coming from. I'm a live and let live kinda guy. I've never understood why anyone would ever want to hurt a person who they'd never met and who had never done anything to them.

Ron is NOT on a crusade to be the champion of Romans 1. He is on a crusade to be the champion of the constitution. The gay lifestyle has been around for thousands of years and will probably be here until Christ returns. Ron doesn't want to get side-tracked on an issue that is divisive and will impede the fight for liberty and against the NWO.
The civil government should not be legislating what consenting adults do in their homes. Nor should the government push any preferred lifestyle on us in the schools or public square. For our cause this should be a non-issue.
If we want to debate what God thinks about homosexuality lets not drag Ron into this and keep promoting the mission of this movement.

i think it is the gay agenda being pushed on Christians. on me, my kids, and grand kids, in schools and in laws that usurp my right to raise and teach my family, or run my businesses how i see fit. but, labor laws, renting laws, and other laws tell me that i cannot "discriminate". and they are making me pay for it with my tax dollars they are stealing out of my pocket. should i also be forced to pay taxes to support the teaching of theft or murder or lying in schools too??? the government has already crossed the line by forcing me to support things that MY GOD says is a sin!!! you are not being forced to pay for Bible studies or Churches. HOW IS THAT FAIR OR RIGHT?????????? Fundamental Christian's rights of the the 1st Amendment HAVE BEEN VIOLATED! and we are being FORCED to support things that we cannot support in good conscience! IS THAT WHAT GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE DOING??? HOW IS THAT LEGAL??? when the government stops stealing my money and using their power to tell me to do things against my conscience that My Creator says is wrong, then we will have no more problems.
