Krugman's prise winning insight
The glorious insight that he got the award for was figuring out why countries with similar labor and capital costs for a particular type of good would trade those goods with each other. Answer: People have differing preferences. You might say, variety is the spice of trade.
Profound, eh? Trade is driven by human action.
Nobel Prize for economics
Is not actually a Nobel Prize, it is actually called the:
Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel
It is not funded by the Nobel Prize organization and even Nobel's Great Grand Son asked that there should be a distinction between the Nobel Prize and the Svenges-Riksbank prize that honored Nobel.
Only one person who believed in Austrian economics has ever won this prize, Milton Friedman.

The only 100% Austrian economist to win the prize was Friedrich Hayek.
James Buchanan said that "he would accept being called an Austrian" but he is considered more of a Public Choice school economist(which he founded).
Milton Friedman, while more or less a free market economist like the above winners, was a Chicago School economist.
Also, just a little editorial. While I like the Austrian school and believe that they are the most clear defenders of sound money, it would be better if we could distance the RP revolution from them to a certain extent. They have some baggage(radical anarchism/radical hatred of empiricism) that hinders them from their full potential in my opinion. Aside from that, here are their strengths:

Krugman Reminds me of Bernanke
They are both just about humorless with sort of a nervous demeanor almost like they are making a conscious effort to hide something like they have brown stained underwear.
They both have very intelligent flourishes but there is something wrong with these men. They have a sort of greasy sheen on their face. They also have a guilty look.
Has anyone noticed this similarity between these shills?

He won the nobel prize for some mathmatic formula, Don't know what this formula calculated, but he didn't win for his overall knowledge of Economics.
I have no comment on Krugman except to say
he yet another smart man who has gone very far astray. He did some great work in the past but is pretty much delusional now.
Actually, there is no Nobel for economics. Nobel considered economists to be charlatans and economics not a science. Offended, economists created their own prize and it is managed such that folks assume it is a Nobel.
