Milking the Beast

0 votes

My father recently has stated that he won't be taking out social security, becuase he doesn't believe in it as a principal. I'm trying to convince him to take it out. Why? Because I am contemplating whether the quickest way to bring down this Beast of Socialism is to actually milk it dry and therefore serve our purposes of bringing about a free society. Is it time to collapse things by taking as much as we can strategically in the form of grants, welfare, federally backed loans, etc...I'm thinking along the lines of Galt's Gulch. Producers, any thoughts?

Maybe he could take the

Maybe he could take the money and donate it to good causes, such as campaignforliberty.org and/or Ron Paul's 2012 campaign (when that gets started)?

...

You cannot starve the beast...

by feeding it. Claiming S.S. only gives them the excuse to continue to rob our children and grandchildren. Tell your father to not only not collect but, to return his card and leave the system altogether. More importantly, do the same yourself and stop paying in.

If we can ignore them sufficiently, they cannot help but to go away.

he paid for SS, he earned it

he paid for SS, he earned it and much more. Ideology aside, this is just a business transaction. I also believe that there is nothing wrong with working for the government as by its creation it probably removed at least one job that is your birthright as an American from the private economy.

Ventura 2012

The dad is right.

Kill the beast. The WHOLE system is dependant on the slave labor of the next generation. He is trying to give his children freedom. This is the system that so many fight for. Sickening.

Only if he is trying to unplug totally

Otherwise, it IS his money. I'd take it. Not to bring anything down, nor milk anything dry, but to take back what belongs to him.

Your father is right.

We are planning to do the same thing. We won't be signing up for SS or medicare.

but didn't he pay into it his whole life?

I'd be pissed if I couldn't use it!

It's not in any account.

The SS payments are not put in any account. Current retirees are paid out of current receipts. SS is broke. Better not plan on it even being around, much less collecting on it.

It's there now

Might as well grab it while he can. I know I won't be getting mine. I'd love to have the $3000 I put in it this last year, I'd have about 3 grand more in gold. F SS, but use it if you paid into it.

Nonsense. They've stolen this money from him...

...for decades. Now you say he should let them keep it??

xntryk1, you're absolutely right. Pump it dry. When it's dry, pump it till it smokes.

Maybe they can print all the paper they need but the paper has to become worthless. That is what breaks their backs, not leaving pilfered money in their pockets.

I may not know the truth, but I know when I'm being lied to...

I may not know the truth, but I know when I'm being lied to...
