Posted by admin, 2nd post in that thread. Perhaps its time that we became versed in the Law of Nations.
"Fourth, your biggest error is your apparent assumption that the powers that be in control of Corp. U.S. today don’t want a revolution—revolution is the only lawful way for them to become the actual government. If the people rebel against the terms of their agreements and go to civil war with Corp. U.S. they invite the only possible result; destruction of our Constitutional Republic."
"The same thing happens if either Corp. U.S. or the people hold a Constitutional Convention. To allow a Constitutional Convention is to abandon our original jurisdiction Constitutional Republic. No good can come from that. The problem we face today is ignorance. The solutions to the situation you are imagining are learning the law, its language and history, then living in accord with it and exercising it even to control the forces of governance accountable to it. That means we must learn to lawfully control ourselves and the government."

Unfortunately...
The responses to this post fail to observe the crucial aspects and undermine the material from Team Law. Without the understanding of the difference between the USA(corp) and original jurisdiction government, any and all attempts at a logical comment(here) fall substantially short of complete understanding. Before making comments on threads like this please, educate yourself on the premise that this comment was made, as well as(to the poster of this) read the terms and conditions on the Team Law website before reposting or disseminating this information without permission. Stop hiding behind the mumbo
Stop hiding behind the mumbo jumbo. I have studied the team law stuff quite thoroughly and understand the supposed premise. It's not rocket science. Supposedly the original jurisdiction (oj) created a corporate business entity to handle well gee it's business. Somehow the oj vacated it jurisdiction and all that was left is the corporate entity and all we have to do is reseat the oj and poof we will have constitutional government again because the military will enforce it.
Now that may be an over simplification but the point is it doesn't matter how correct team law may or may not be at law. So instead of coming on here and trying to point to some i we didn't dot or some t we didn't cross Try refuting the logic instead of hiding behind pseudo legalese nuance.
Here is what I wrote down lower try addressing the logic if you can:

Absolutely
Right on FreeMan. They do want a revolution of violence. Don't do it. Don't give them an excuse to be violent. Civil Disobedience. That is how african americans did it in the 60's. They gave the police (for the most part) no excuse to use violence, so when they did it anyway law enforcement just looked reeeealy bad. We need to do the same. Boycott, pull your money from the big banks, tax revolts, etc. will work much better than giving them an excuse for martial law. Once martial law comes in, it will be a hard battle to win.
"People demand freedom only when they have no power. "
--Henry Longfellow
But
they've already decided they can declare martial law for any reason so maybe we just better get some of that testicular fortitude anyway!
"People demand freedom only when they have no power. "

Exactly
I do not advocate violence but when when you have no rights left and everything we do is met with some type of force/extortion, self defense becomes your only option. We are born with inalienable rights. No man should have this much contol over another man. No man should profit from anothers misery.
Hmm
I agree that the Constitutional Convention would be a large mistake as to many ignorant or corrupt people are in power as we now stand that only more would be stripped away from us.
BUT I disagree vehemently that revolution is what they want or would be a bad thing. Our forfathers were no fools and far far more educated that the vast majority of us, not to me being the drafters and living in a time that what you were proposing is bad was the best thing that they could do.
They reserved the right of the people to revolt and infact pointed out the fact that it is our duty when the situation arises.
This passive approach that stays passive even while be murdered is exactly what they want. Its why they have preached so much passivity in schools. Why much of our history is avoided in school and why we as a nation have been weened on drugs and chemicals in our water and food to keep us as passive as possible.

So I guess the violence that established this nation in freedom was wrong? The violence that finally stopped Hitler and his regime was wrong? (And yes I know how we got into that war)
Yeah I agree violence is never the answer, oh unless of course you want to win, preserve, and defend freedom from socialist and fascist. Because my friend there are evil people who don't give damn about your morals, principles, and beliefs. But hey I guess we can continue what we have been doing for decades and give away our freedom peacefully.

So what if
forces loyal to Corp. US (state/local police, FBI, HS, DEA, CIA, etc) start the revolution by moving against the citizens of the Republic? Believe me, I am not looking for trouble. But if these psychopaths intend to rule our lives, which looks to be the case, a lot of people are going to leave the planet.

A normal person has a moral
A normal person has a moral compass, however those in power are generally charismatic psychopaths. In simple terms, the elite are generally con men. A con man uses the law for his self interest and ignores it when convenient.
Unless the system collapses through violence or systemic failure (corruption), all the strongly worded memos in the world will not effect change. The elite have to find their morals or they have to be replaced.

"Thus the World Was Lost"~ Arthur Silber
As some of you know I have lately been reading alot with Arthur Silber and I found this gem ( below) I would love to share! I highly recommend spending some time on some of his other works!
Exerpts from "Thus the World Was Lost"
"We are not gods, and we are not omniscient. We cannot foretell the future with certainty. Most often, cultural and political changes are terribly complex. It can be notoriously difficult to predict exactly where a trend will take us, and we can be mistaken. We do the best we can: if we wish to address certain issues seriously, we study history, and we read everything that might shed light on our concerns. We consult what the best thinkers of our time and of earlier times have said and written. We challenge everyone's assumptions, including most especially our own. That last is often very difficult. If we care enough, we do our best to disprove our own case. In that way, we find out how strong our case is, and where its weaknesses may lie.
Barring extraordinary circumstances, we cannot be certain that a particular development represents a critical turning point at the time it occurs. If we dare to say, "This is the moment the battle was lost," only future events will prove whether we were correct. We do the best we can, based on our understanding of how similar events have unfolded in the past, and in light of our understanding of the underlying principles in play. We can be wrong."

There is no question that the Military Commissions Act, given the language it now contains, grants -- in principle -- full dictatorial powers to the executive. As I explained in the earlier essay, the executive and certain entities it controls can designate anyone, including any American citizen, as an "unlawful enemy combatant." That person can then be imprisoned for the rest of his life, with no recourse whatsoever. Period.
That is absolute power over every single one of us. Absolute. Consider the word, and what it means. Your life is no longer yours. It is the executive's, to dispose of as he chooses. I must repeat an earlier point: it is most likely that this power will not be exercised to the full extent possible, or anything close to its full extent, any time soon. The exercise of that power will come, if it does, in stages. See Jim Henley's post on this point. Of course, the specifics may be very different, depending on many other events -- and depending on what particular individuals hold this fearsome power, and what their specific objectives are.
The critical point is what, in principle, the grant of power includes. As noted, the grant is absolute: it includes everything. As I have pointed out, the determination of the Bush administration to achieve absolute power has been indisputably clear since shortly after 9/11. And this is hardly the first time that I and others have noted that the mechanisms for a complete dictatorship have now been put in place."
***********
"So, take the time to be sure to understand the momentous nature of the battle. Speak out about it, wherever and as often as you can. Make clear to everyone you know what is at stake, and convince them to fight, too.
For the present, we have the certainty of the Military Commissions Act -- and the hope that we may still prevent its most ghastly eventualities. I pray that hope will be realized. The most terrible and terrifying thing of all, for those of you who will still be alive in forty or fifty years, will be to look back on this time, and to have to say, "Thus the world was lost" -- and to know that, because you did not do everything you could, you helped to lose it."

Another prediction of violence.
William Strauss and Neil Howe wrote "The Fourth Turning" which takes the exact look at history you recommend that we do to understand the future.
They divide history into cycles of 80 to 90 years. Each cycle is composed of a recovery from previous bad times, a peak period of excess, a decline and then a crisis period which culminates in nation threatening violence. The four prior conflicts for the US were the American Revolution in 1776, the Civil War in 1851, World War II in 1941, with the next conflict being due about 2020.
Each conflict is preceded by a major crisis. Note that there have been many other conflicts in the US since 1776, but only the Civil War and WWII were nation threatening. Note also that of the three prior conflicts, two were civil, and the third, WWII, was probably fought to redirect internal conflict.
It should be clear that we are in a crisis period now, the depths of which are still to be revealed to us. The crisis is economic, in my view related to the maturity and decline of energy exploitation, and secondarily to a fraudulent, predatory, unconstitutional, unstable monetary system.
