We need our own Drudge Report, Part 2, we really really do!

We need our own Drudge Report.

I know I posted about this recently but I really think we would get serious bang for our buck *if it were done right*.

I don’t know if maybe the CFL could do something like this (or even any clever and sensible person like Michael Nystrom – although I am not suggesting Michael do it, I mean some random person like him).

I keep reading all these horrific stories, like one about the shenanigans of the ICC (there’s a story about a rogue International Criminal Court judge at Takimag today), about moves toward a real ID, about the airports with full body-pervert scans, about the law in Britain which means all emails and net use will have to be stored by telcos for years and years (everyones). This horror is growing exponentially. Scary stuff.

Virtually none of it gets much attention on the MSM and if it does it’s just one piece of news here, one piece there …… BUT if it were put together on a daily basis on a website (Antiwar.com does this too) it would add up to a fright show and might help wake people up.

Another reason is that Matt Drudge, as great as he is, and I do like him – just seems more neoconish or just not radical enough anymore, and he used to be better.

There’s a niche for our point of view and a lot of people can have their minds changed.

And Drudge is like the NYT now – too safe and too establishment.

I will check out your suggestions. Never heard of any of them, although thenystromreport sounds good : )

freemarketnews

I think I've found it, it's:

FreeMarketNews.com

After Drudge's absolute hatchet job on the Dr. Paul campaign, I swore I'd never look at it again! LOL

My alternative became freemarketnews.com, I usually hit 'world' for world news on the left side and it's been excellent and timely over the past year.

Hope this helps
& good luck!

We have a Drudge

We have a Drudge Report!!!
please visit www.LibertyFile.com as this website was created to provide a similar news feed to the Drudge Report. I happen to be friends with the person who created this website and he will have sub-links to each state as this news site takes off. Unlike the recent news with USA Tomorrow (which I was fortunate not to invest into due to my feelings that print media is on it's way out as electronic media is taking over), this service will not need direct investment dollars and if so, I know that there will be a true representation of the dollars needed and how the money is being invested. If you are not aware, here in Indiana, we are on the verge of having major protests as now some of the wealthiest families are irate at the system and are starting to invest into activism as a means to put a tremendous amount of pressure on our elected leaders. It's time to take back our nation!

Hmmmm

How about the nystromreport, then Matt and Mike can go at it for the top scoops and breaking news lol

personally i think drudge

personally i think drudge should just post WAY more news stories. I mean, there are what 30-40 stories on their per day? There ought to be in excess of 100 minimum. I mean, there are the archives, but who wants to rummage through those?

Think for yourself, question authority
