What percent of Americans do you think understand the FED and Fractional Reserve Banking?

Sponsor a youth baseball team and name them End the Fed. Or buy banner advertising at a baseball stadium that reads the same.

I'd say that only 10% of the RP community can "accurately" explain the Fed Reserve and Fractional Reserve Banking -- without looking it up. So, less than 10% of 1%, as a nation!!

It's how quickly and from how many angles you can articulate the issues -- not that you've "heard of it."

That being said 99% of the RP community "sits on their butts and chats liberty"

How many can see the wisdom in the following and can articulate it?

If you can't see it then this movement will take a lot longer to "manifest liberty."

If you think that we must "elect" the right people -- then you are part of the problem. An abdicator of authority.

I had lunch with a group of Ron
Paul delegates that I just met.
We started talking about the Fed
and when I mentioned that they
were private bankers,these people said I was wrong and got angry!Go figure.

I wrote a letter to the editor of my local newspaper and I have been mailed letters of support accompanied by quotes from Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and DVDs to watch.

I went out with some friends last night and people I have not seen in many moons came up to me and asked about the Federal Reserve.

I showed this letter to the editor along with the letters and DVDs to the President of my company and he was not aware that the Federal Reserve Bank was even private. This is the same man who just purchased $500,000 in physical gold because he realized that printing of more dollars will make our current dollars worthless.

The Federal Reserve issue is starting to get coverage and people are catching on.

I'd say that if .1% of the population understand it I would be surprised.

Probably less than 1 in 1000.

A friend at church just lent us a video called Crash Course. We were very familiar with most of the economic issues raised, but it sure explained it in such a way that those who are not familiar with the federal reserve and fractional reserve banking would understand easily.

most people know they are being cheated,

and are apathetic, "What can we do?".

And less than 1% actually understand the details.

People look at me as if I have 4 heads.

A perfect God is not made imperfect by imperfect people.

That is a safe bet because in any normal distribution you will find 2 1/2% on each end of the bell curve, beyond three standard deviations from the mean. If this was easy to understand, then government and the banking interests would not be able to get away with this scam right out in open public.

I think this is why Libertarian and other third party candidates generally get about 2 1/2% of the vote. We are just a statistical aberration of no real political significance.

If you read some of the posts on this site, it is clear that even here where this topic is widely discussed, there is occasional misunderstanding. In the general public where there is deliberate disinformation coming from many authoritative sources, it will probably remain a mystery even as the ravages of its instability send shock waves through the economy.

There are some that understand the FED, but it is sacred knowledge that they think is untouchable, and they get mad when you simplify it into what it really is.

Pretty much just us in the RP Revolution, I'd say.

It cannot be calculated using modern technology.

I'd say no more then 100,000 american citizens understand our money system.

I'd say quite a few more, maybe a million, know that something is totally screwed up about it...but probably can't explain the technicals.

I would go with a small fraction but... My Father, who passed away in 98', knew about it. As my Mom tells it, in the 80's some weirdo friend of his told him about the Fed and a week later he bought 40 bars of silver.

So, my Mom sort of knows but, equates it with physically carrying around "gold coins" or some such rubbish. Plus, my Grandfather knows about it, too.

That's a pretty good number for my tiny sphere... Is my family an anomaly? Is 5% or less a drastically low ball figure? I can't say, but I know people are interested.
