The President Who Told The Truth

For the love of Christ, will all of you in the Ron Paul liberty movement STOP idolizing the warmongering statist JFK! Was he perhaps less tyrannical and evil than GWB or Obama? Maybe. But he was no friend of liberty. Do yourselves a favor and go through some of the executive orders that he signed.

If there's 2 things the Ron Paul people consistently have wrong, it's their love affair with Lincoln, the most evil and destructive President we had until Woodrow Wilson, and JFK. Even Thomas Jefferson left the federal government more tyrannical, intrusive and unconstitutional than when he found it.

The last half-way decent President we had was Grover Cleveland who vetoed more bills than any President in history and even went so far as to state that if Congress should declare war against Spain (which they were poised to do) he would refuse to execute the war as President. Now THAT's heroic.

The context of JFK's 'consipiracy' talk, is that of the Soviet Conspiracy against capitolism.

on the CFL site. JFK was an amazing man. If they can take out the most protected man in Amerika in broad daylight, how is anyone safe?

Umm, whoever made this video is stretching a bit when they talk about "it's dissenters are silenced and not praised." Most of these people were more establishment than rebels and it's doubtful anyone higher up planned their deaths. I'm talking John Lennon, Martin Luther King, etc...

This video, while very artfully done, shares the same fatal flaw that destroys the usefulness of other well made videos like "Endgame" and "Zeitgeist".

In judging videos we don't just need to be concerned about whether they contain truth, or even a preponderance of truth. Cyanide will render a steak deadly, even in trace amounts. And the "tastiness" of such a steak only renders it more dangerous.

While it exposes some profound truths about the global Conspiracy, it mixes them in with a liberal helping of disorganized, tangential, and unnecessarily vague references that leave the viewer with the impression that this is a hodge podge of paranoid delusions. And to top it all off, a major part of the film uses as its audio track a speech by President Kennedy that was referring to the Cold War version of communism; not The Conspiracy that we know transcends any such simplistic national or ideological identity. Yes, secrecy is a necessary part of conspiracy. But dragging in references from everything from Tupac to the Bohemian Club is unnecessarily confusing. And implying that Martin Luther King was a martyr to the Conspiracy is a flat out lie.

As a tool for educating our uninformed friends it is way too confusing and, frankly misleading.
Even for the "initiated" it contains enough spurious information to lead one off onto a dozen wild goose chases.
It would be an embarrassment for our movement if Ron Paul were associated with this video.

This video needs to be buried, quickly.
