Sovereignty Resolution For MN !!!

It's good to see these resolutions being passed. But I still believe this is just a negotiating tactic to get federal failout (oops, I mean "bailout") money. When the states use the national guard to expel the IRS then I'll believe this is more than just government infighting over who gets the to spend tax money. Maybe it will come to that.

Actually, our license plates say The Land of 10,000 Lakes. It's nice here, but they'll tax you on just about anything they can think of. It's nuts lol I sent a email to Pawlenty with links to all the other states regarding the sovereignty movement, maybe he saw it, I don't know. Never heard back from them.

Shouldn't be that hard. For starters, this is a repudiation of Bush's 'Big Government' Conservatism.

I call them the "Federalist Liberals" and that seems to connect: Social Spending is fine at the State Level, but not necessarily at the Fed. States have the right to decide their own marriage laws, their own marijuana laws, and don't have to be bullied by the Federal Government.

Democrats are less likely to support this now just because their own guy is in power. In that regard, they are following the same mistake that they made with Bush. National standards curriculum? Big 'oops' when that sword swings the other way. What about Eminent Domain, or environmental regulations? Or if the next Republican forces a curriculum Democrats oppose down a school's throat, or what have you? What if local police are mandated to enforce policies that the state fundamentally opposes, and does it with the State's tax dollars?

That's the approach I take. "The Federalist Liberal" is live and let live: Give permission for the Red States to be red states and blue states to be blue states. Regardless of who is in power. That's what this is affirming.

shouldn't we contact the state reps. and senators, not the US/national/federal ones?

Contact your Rep! emails, letters, phone calls! If you dont do it, then who will?

I can only say it's beyond time that this was done. Being the pathetic brain washed, liberal, tax and spend pork farm government it is I will do all I can to see this is done! Contacted Mn C4l to have them contact all Mn patriots on the list to inform those who might not know. Next step, onto my "reps" and "sen". Misguided though they are or is it down right ignorant?

Now if we can change the charter of the Federal Reserve to make, in essence, 'the people', as the beneficiaries of its money system enterprise that will be in operation by several sovereign states, granting 'the people' a vote regarding who their board of directors will be locally in each state, I will be more 'in Love'!!!!

so you need to contact your State Representative. There is no companion bill yet in the State Senate (as of yesterday). There were 16 Republican sponsors, 0 Democrats. Surely someone can convince a conservative Democrat to sign on.
