Glenn Beck: The government coming in, disenfranchising people over and over, and over again. And, having the people say please listen to us. The average person, some people will listen to the government, but others, and I'm seeing it already, they know the Constitution, they know the writings of the founders, and they feel that the government, or they will in this scenario, and I think were on this road, The government has betrayed the Constitution. And so they will see themselves as standing up for the Constitution. So, how do you diffuse this Michael, or how long do we have before this becomes a crazy real life scenario.


Michael Sheuer: Well, I don't think you want to diffuse it, Glenn. We've had a 40 minute program so far, and all of the problems we talked about so far, in one way or another, are a result of the American government either over spending or over reaching.


Glenn Beck: Wait a minute. Are both of you guys saying, that you don't want a Rev-, I don't think we would head for an American revolution, I think we would head for a French revolution. This is a scenario that would tear this country apart, and spiral us into something that maybe we have never even seen before, including the Civil War.


Michael Sheuer: Glenn, the Second Amendment is about, at base, not about hunting or about a militia, but about resisting tyranny. The founders were very concerned about allowing individual citizens weaponry to defend themselves, as a last resort, against the tyrannical government. I don't think the founders ever considered that there would be a tyranny of incompetence, but I think that's what we're facing. And ultimately, that's the right of the American.


Glenn Beck: OK, wait, gentlemen. Both of you guys, I mean I can't believe I'm hearing this, and don't get me wrong, I am against the government, and I think they have just been horrible, and I do think they are betraying the principles of our founders, every day they're in office. But, I have to tell you, this scenario scares the living daylights out of me.

he doesn't hide that fact and good for him. Perhaps during all of those blurry episodes he wasn't thinking as well as he should have been. But, now that his brain cells are readjusting themselves, perhaps, he is thinking more coherently.
I say give him the benefit of doubt because his "current" message seems to only promote our views, not harm them. Ya think? Also, how often do we get to put our heavy hitters on national msm like Sheuer?

until he becomes a non - interventionist ... will he understand anything related to a tanked economy .... All his talk about civil unrest / civil war -
I get the feeling he would still think that the USA troops should be all over the world. Last, his little promotion on that other show earlier wth the poor
acting woman (hiding under the table) you know the one where his hands
"were shaking"..... that seemed like a comercial promotion to get folks to
tune in to his show later that evening.

On the possitive side - at least he is talking about these possibilities and not just going along with "la la" land ideas.....of msm
and you can include much of our government with that way of thinking to...

NOW I see the cointelpro in his show. Check out where he starts talking about the liberty dollar. Von Nothaus didn't go to jail, and it isn't bogus, illegal money. Alternative, local currency made by local communities are the only way out for communities to save themselves from hyperinflation. community money has and will always work, check out ithaca hours, berkshares, etc. (there's thousands of examples).

There's gonna be tons of these little "slip ups" as Glenn Beck tries to woo the real people who question authority. Wolf in sheep's clothing if there ever was one.

Be the change you want to see

He's had some good guests lately, but I find it difficult to give him any credence. Don't forget that during the "Rally for the Republic" - a little over 5 months ago, he was still implying we were mostly scary and crazy. Before that, I don't recall him speaking about freedom or the constitution. Suddenly, too many of his discussions sound as though they've been formulated from posts on the DailyPaul and Ron Paul Forums. I can't help but wonder if we're being used as a pundit-development tool.
To mainstream media we're just a "marketing segment". Even as MSM was drowning out Ron Paul's message during the election, they were becoming aware of a large, untapped market. If they hijack our movement now, they may eventually dilute or warp the message and discredit us. Sure, go ahead and watch the show. But I don't believe he's loyal to the cause and he deserves nothing from us.

Still coming? I don't see it anywhere. Am I missing something?
