I'll be attending a meeting today at the Fort Wayne, IN Republican Party HQ, where Mitt Romney's son Randy will be doing some Q&A. Any of you folls have any suggestions on some quality questions to ask him about his dad or their campaign?
He'll be in town today at noon. So any questions after 10:45 am today, I'll not see and we can let this thread fade away.

No Not really. He did say that they will reduce spending but would increase the military so I asked how he would do that and all he said is stop waste... so I assume that means all social programs will be cut but we will have a very big army. Oh and Mashthegas asked are him and his brothers going to sign up for the military since that is where they will increase funding to fight all the terrorists and he said no neither him nor his brothers have signed up nor do they have plans too.

Could ask what his dad thinks about the latest findings of cannabis for reducing cancer. And of course if his dad will support Ron Paul when RP wins the nomination.

I like the question about how he plans on not instituting the draft with his military agenda.
Also, stay away from the Mormon stuff. The more people attack him for his religion the more support I think he would actually get. It's sort of like the Bill Clinton phenomenon - the more he was attacked for things that shouldn't affect his political life, the more people liked him.

DON'T ask him questions that will come off as bigoted. So pretty much leave the Mormon thing alone.
DON'T ask him about the trip where the family dog was put on the roof of the car. Someone else might, but you can do better.

You know the responses to the initial question. "Oh it's a free market." "Oh, we will help the poor pay for it." "Oh, you there's a law requiring you to have car insurance."
The car insurance nonsense is inapplicable. There's no FEDERAL law requiring it, and (most importantly) you only need car insurance if you wish to drive a car. You don't have to drive. You can "opt out." A law mandating all citizens to purchase something is an afront to liberty.
How would the Founders feel about that? Would Patrick Henry roll over and buy a policy? Sam Adams? Jefferson, Madison, Franklin, Washington?

I know these are weird but these are all parts of the Mormon religion. Those squeaky-clean missionairies at your door won't tell you this. They only tell this stuff to Mormons once they have been in a while.

Actually if you read the Bible closely Lucifer is NOT Satan or the Devil. Thats an idea invented by the Catholic Church. What Lucifer is, is open to debate. Technically the name is translated to "Morning Star". Two other people have been called Morning Star in the Bible, Jesus, and Adam.
