Do you use a caller ID to decide who to and not to talk to?

Then I provide you w/ this message as a public service. Even though I have caller ID, I don't use it to decide who not to talk to. If it's an unknown #, I still pick up, if it's someone I know I don't want to talk to, I still pick up. I don't avoid people, I don't avoid my problems. Our country got into this mess in the 1st place by people avoiding who they don't like, avoiding their problems. We raise a complete fuss over being deprived of french fries w/ our Happy Meal, smile, or being owed a quarter more back in change. We take companies to court when they have overcharged us, or done work in a fashion we deem unacceptable, yet, when the State tries to deprive us of 30% of our income, or charges us $100 for going down the road in the form of victim-less traffic crime, we, for some reason let it go. If you don't want to talk to a debt collector, don't confirm your identity. But if you get a call from unavailable, 202-730-9944, pick up if you believe in the cause of liberty, 'cause it's Dr. Paul's Campaign for Liberty! Would you deny a call from Ron Paul?

I don't have caller ID. I'm on the "don't call list" for soliciters so don't have much of a problem there. If someone calls that I do not wish to speak with, I get rid of them pretty quick - don't need caller ID...and they usually don't call back if that is my goal. : ) It seems to me that personal phones are getting as bad as robot business phones...limited personal contact. But as someone once said..."For every technological advancement, man gives up a bit of real human contact".

I'll forward all the incoming long distance calls to you.
