Because the local new deal was a raw deal.
The only way to keep the gov't ponzi schemes working is if they can somehow find more suckers. When the illuminati say "global" they mean "fresh suckers." When the bills come due on the old "new deal" the answer is to find more suckers, start a war, or change the subject and steal the money from someone else. It never ends.
