Thanks to all of you MCDC folks that came to the rally today in front of US Rep Dennis Moore's Overland Park Kansas office. Check out the attachments/pictures, I think you will be proud. I doubt that Mr. Moore was in office but he surely heard about it. This is an example of how you get the attention of the folks; get into their pocket book! The cost of illegals is what we need to be keying in on in our education process, we have been but they have not been listening, maybe they will now. We had 500 + or - people there according to TV CHannel 9 and the crowd at one point was almost two blocks long with people on the other side of the street as well. I wish I could say that this was a Minuteman rally only but it was not. This started off with a lady by the name of "Amanda" who got angry over the stimulus bill debacle and she got the attention of the media and it went on from there. We did have many MCDC there and I didn't get a chance to talk to all of you but it's always good to see you out there and supportive in our cause. There was at least one other grass roots group there as well besides those that heard about this from the "Amanda" media coverage. I took over 14 pictures today but have only sent you 8 as it takes so long to send and receive them all. We had good weather but the temp was in the 20's so anytime you have 500 + or - people show up in those conditions you know they are passionate at least for now. We handed out information out to several people who said they wanted to join the MCDC, one was a lady from Wichita and she said she would be in touch with me along with several others.

Next Saturday we are going to co produce another rally at the KCMo Plaza fountain for none other than Clarie McCaskell will be our next subject of interest. We will meet at the fountain at 10 AM and walk to McCaskell's office and rally there. This is a HOA Minuteman rally along with "Bob", a Missouri resident who we are helping on this rally so please mark your calendars and come whether you live in Kansas or Missouri. We had a lot of Missouri folks there today so we Kansans need to be there next Saturday, all that can. If this picks up all over America we can get something done or at least our voices will be heard. Here's the scoop on next Saturdays event:

the plan is a 1 mile walk to Senator Claire McCaskill office @ 4141 Pennsylvania
