Check out this guy dishing out some of their own medicine to Fox talking heads. We should support this guy big time.

BUMP BUMP BUMP

“A wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement” - Thomas Jefferson
“We have allowed our nation to be over taxed and over regulated and overrun by bureaucrats, the founders would be ashamed of us for what we're putting up with.” Ron Paul
You guys are defending this guy?
If the bank bailout didn't exist, he'd still be pining Congress for free money. The fact is, unions are ONE of the many problems plaguing Detroit, and there's a sense of entitlement with UAW members. They got used to the lifestyle that was unsustainable for the company's standpoint, and now it must come to an end. They expect the rest of us to subsidize that lifestyle.

This man was right on when he stated we must
begin to produce goods in order to survive. If you wish to ignore that plain and simple fact in order to grind an axe against the unions, so be it, but it still won't change anything from the past. If I were given a choice which organization were to fail I would most assuredly choose the banking industry to collapse over the auto. Those union members so cavalierly spoken of by a few of us had nothing to do with the unfair "free" trade policies that have brought our economy down. If you can't see the writting on the wall about the real reasons we have come to this point perhaps you might want to step away from your keyboard and look elsewhere for a bit of reality.

He's done his homework
People are sick of the double standard.
"It's just one big club... and WE ain't in it!"
"Tyrants fear nothing more than insubordination"
"It's just one big club... and WE ain't in it!"
Double standards are
Double standards are irrelevant. We can whine about one group receiving money over another all day long. The fundamental problem is government should not be giving money at all. If we all get fair treatment, then we are giving ourselves money from the treasury. We will be full-blown socialists in no time flat. Where does it end?

We all know that
But he has a point. At least somebody is calling down Wall Street and the bankers on national tv.
They do not get a free pass anymore.
Those are the new rules.
"It's just one big club... and WE ain't in it!"
"Tyrants fear nothing more than insubordination"
"It's just one big club... and WE ain't in it!"
Of course he has a point.
Of course he has a point. However, it doesn't make it correct. That same point could be made for all of us needing a bailout. My fear is that the bailout frenzy will continue to grow and eventually we'll all be "Nationalized" and products of the state.
It's a slippery slope, it doesn't matter how good his point of the inequity is.

Yeah
but I'm still glad he let the Wall Street bankers have it on National TV....especially now that AIG has come forward with hat in hand again.
"It's just one big club... and WE ain't in it!"

this guy was interviewed
this guy was interviewed with peter schiff. he didn't have a clue what schiff was talking about. this guy looks like a union mafia supported moron. he's trying to separate wall street with "american"(strictly union only though) workers to prop up his obviously bogus union argument that unions shouldn't give up anything. now i believe in unions mostly when they were started and needed back in the day. but they can get carried away and slow down production big time. i've learned this argument in this great book called "economics in one lesson". a great read. i do admire his spunk.

State by state, city by city
He is representing his constituency who happen to be UAW workers.

Whatever your feelings are about the UAW, he is representing, and bringing up a very good point about wall street bonuses.
Wall street bonuses are
Wall street bonuses are irrelevant when it comes to this argument. The UAW in collusion with the government have brought down the Auto Industry. They have driven jobs overseas, reduced the opportunities for more workers to be employed by the Automakers at a lower price.
There is a reason Michigan is on the brink of the 3rd world. They are a very socialist state and it will go away, just as the Rust Belt did.
If the local city or state happens to be a brutal dictator, destroying people's fundamental rights, is that ok? 51% of the people want to destroy (insert race, gender, profession here) just for the sake of the 51% Constituency?
The bottom line is: We the people OR the Government should not be in the business of bailing out ANY industry. AND, Just because one industry "receives" a bailout, does NOT mean that ALL other industries should receive anything. If this is the case, then all of us should receive some sort of bailout.
If the mayor of Lansing was smart he would work to keep the UAW from having so much control. Bailouts are never sustainable and neither are Unions when they are forced to compete in a global market. Wages go up and wages go down. Businesses have a hard time coping with the fluctuations because the Union costs are fixed.

Honda, Nissan, and Toyota
Are not asking to be bailed out. I didn't say I agreed with him, merely that he is trying to represent. Something every poitician should do.
Then he should be
Then he should be representing the Auto companies in his respective state and city. It's unconstitutional to force the rest of the states & people to provide bailout money.
Unfortunately the Constitution has been torn asunder. Somehow most people believe that the Federal Government can take money from all the other states to assist a Corporation in a single state.
The original edict of the Constitution was not to give handouts. The State of Michigan has the authority to tax the people of Michigan to bailout any and all corporations in it's state.
He might be representing his constituents, but he has no grounds and is wholly unconstitutional, just as the banking bailouts were.

Right Friggin on!!!!
I like that guy a lot! I doubt he really really gets it, but I can tell you what, I'm glad to hear somebody else bring up the fact that prosperity on the backs of others is not sustainable.
