Yeah! Someone gets it! He is, was, and shall remain, a TOOL. His rant is to deflect attention away from the bankers.
Edit: 92% of Americans ARE paying their mortgage. "Sub prime loans" are the scape goat, not the real problem. The real problem is the banksters wanted all our land and money, and they will lie, cheat and steal to get it. And, people like, Rick will play the game the way they are told to play.

I mean, we are getting caught up in the minutiae of details and really should be happy that someone on the MSM is ranting about the fed and government overstepping it's constitutional limits. My point this whole time is OF COURSE they would capitalize on the notions of class warfare because THEY CREATED THE CONDITIONS. They created the problem which has lead to people saying that "they don't want to pay their neighbors mortgage". That gets spun around into Americans fighting Americans but that doesn't mean it isn't how people feel nor is it moral to force other to do so. It's classic divide and conquer and that is why the uproar was created over this specific issue and not over the countless other rants by Santelli. Like Rhino said, and I am forced to back him up, Rick Santelli has railed against the bailouts and terrible monetary practice pretty much every time I have seen him from the trading floor on days where big events were occurring. Just like Rhino said, he did walk out on a segment because he was so frustrated the the CNBC cheerleaders just wouldn't pull their heads out of their asses and listen.
Fedor and paul4won I love where your heart is on this but you are being manipulated just as you think everyone else is being manipulated into beatifying Mr. Santelli. You are playing right into their hands by throwing him under the bus like you are instead of capturing what he is really saying and what he has been saying over the last few years. You are missing a great opportunity and instead of using it to our advantage you guys are here telling us how stupid and mindless we are for giving the man some credit for having the balls to put his job on the line. Could he go on to blame the bankers, call them out by name, and then drag the whole Obama administration into it because they are deeply connected to the whole scam? Yes of course he could, but it would be his last broadcast and that would be one less voice telling some semblance of the truth out there.
Even if he is some kind of co-intel operative take what he says and take the time to educate others further on the REAL issues...i.e. the bankers planning to bring down the whole world financial system so that they could buy it all up and own the world. There is no need to in-fight when we all know the basic message here.

I am so sad. I so wanted someone on our side but could it be he doesn't understand what we know about it? I was talking to a neighbor and she thinks just like Rick. They don't understand that yes there were people who were not qualified but there are also people who played by the rules. I tried to tell her that this economic melt down was a planned scam. this article is spot on. Santelli was MIA during the bank bailouts but now has righteous indignation for the little man. This is a point of attack against him that has already been used, similar to the "the Republicans did a bailout, you cant talk" democrat line. However, I don't believe in guilt by omission in this case as its not like Santelli really has that much control over what he says, and what he did say about the stimulus was very good.

As far as the nature of my gripe with Rhino, he was using this completely unrelated thing to pick a fight...just like his enemies were doing to him not long ago, and he did not like it so well.
