Looking for a quote

I remember reading a quote somewhere and it's been driving me crazy trying to figure out where..
I thought this would be a good place to ask?
It was about how the economic state, natural disasters, along with some other things, we sure signs that the end of times were near....
and it was written in the early 1800's I believe?
does anyone know what I'm talking about?

This one is descriptive of social state
"But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
