They scrambled alright
I agree with the original post.
They even said 'it's out of control'. That was a spastic reaction. Hearing the opening statements from Ron Paul is a breach of their controlled information policy.
I too think CNBC was just
I too think CNBC was just off guard at the fact of the opening statements being lengthy, not particularly due to what RP was saying. He finished his whole 2 minute opening statement and was not cut off by CNBC. The next person was already speaking for a good 10 seconds before they said it was not going as planned. It's still funny, and I'm glad it was RP getting some air time, but I don't buy the notion that CNBC was scrambling due to what Paul said.
Someone at CNBC let this happen.

While I'd like to agree w/ you that they were upset from Dr. Paul's opening statement, after watching the video I would disagree. From the look of it they weren't expecting so many opening statements and decided to get in some commercials while the getting was good.
If that's not what they wanted aired, ...
... then why did they air it? I bet the guys in the feedroom piping it through was intentional and maybe the hosts were'nt expecting it, too bad lol. Since it aired on CNBC, millions of viewers definately got a good dose of honesty. If I were a viewer and did'nt know Dr Paul, I'de be wanting to know more about this guy then what the hosts were talking about. I would bet the viewers are asking "Who's Ron Paul? I like that guy !"
