Ron Paul and the conspiracy of history - from Doug Wead

Not since 1939, when Winston Churchill’s lonely, defiant voice called the Nazi’s for what they really were, has anybody this old, been this right about something so dangerously missed by the rest of the public...

What a wonderful article.....

Now and then it is nice to read such a valid and sincere tribute. Lets just hope that all of this exposure that Dr. Paul has been getting lately will bear fruit, and perhaps he will be given the opportunity to lead the nation "back to the future".

Refreshing article,

but I think that it will be too late for America when Dr. Paul's message and ideas are finally recognized and welcomed by the mainstream. I hope that he is around for the start-over.

Very Nice

It is so refreshing to hear eloquent political commentary that makes sense.

Well done and inspiring

but I also found the commentary compelling, especially that calling into question the comparison of our beloved Ron Paul, a man of peace, with Churchill, arguably a man of war. If interested, one of the comments contains a link to a Mises article written by Adam Young. This piece is rather long, but a fascinating and well-written counterargument to the Churchill myth. Similar in intention and portent of articles and books regarding the "real Lincoln", Young's piece does an excellent job of reexamining the ideas long-held sacrosanct about Churchill, essentially asking the simple, but profound question, "Is it true?". Reading this, we learn that, uh, maybe not...

To the point as always

I really enjoy Doug Wead's work and especially his recent series on Ron Paul winning.

Having recently finished reading Patrick Buchanan's compelling Churchill, Hitler, and the Unnecessary War: How Britain Lost Its Empire and the West Lost the World, I am uncomfortable with comparing Dr. Paul to an inaccurate, flawed popular image of Winston Churchill.

For those interested in Buchanan's work, but without time to read it right now, you might enjoy taking a look at this, an hour-long interview with Patrick Buchanan from C-SPAN2:
