My friend's 5 years old kid called 911

The son of a friend called few hours ago 911 complaining about his mother.
She was shocked to have the Police knocking at her door since she didn't know her son called the cops. The Police ask her why she was screaming earlier at the child, turn out she was angry because she caught him playing with matches inside the house.
The Police talked also to the kid and this is the end of the story...but the situation is absolutely insane. I talked to her over the phone and she said she's now afraid to raise her voice again at him !
So basically the child is now out of control, he can do whatever the f*** he wants because he knows his mother won't be able to punish him.

She's lucky that the cop didn't arrest her for not preventing the kid from getting hold of matches - which she confessed to. She also confessed to screaming at him. Verbal assault?
She needs to inform the kid that if he calls 911 on her again, the police might take him away. It's the truth.

She should post the number to CPS on her fridge and tell her
~ kid if he ever has a problem with her or her discipline that he should call that number. But also tell him that he must remember, if he calls that number there is no turning back, he will go live with another family that will ration his food, not buy him toys and clothes and will never love him like she does. Once he dials that number he won't ever be allowed home, because CPS doesn't give children back.

I've had something like this happen to me some years ago when I watched my sister's kid. I wouldn't let him watch some retarded show on TV that's not even for kids. This brat then called the police and made up some story when I was cooking something in the kitchen.
I;m going back to the living room when I hear the phone ring and it's the police asking me questions. I didn't know what was going on and it took me few minutes to explain myself after I realized the brat made up some lies.

that he's learned about what constitutes "child abuse" at school. I have some friends who related that experience to me. Amazing how kids are being "educated" in schools. It does appear that education's first order of business is to impose themselves between parent(s) and child.

real fast. She needs to tell him the consequences of the state taking him over.
I know that here in Florida
I know that here in Florida children are taught to call 911 on their parents as early as 4 years old, if the parent is abusing the child. But of course a 4 year old doesn't understand that and will just call if they are being "spanked" or punished.
It's a good way to have tattle tale kids 1984 style, and like your friend makes the parents feel like they aren't in control anymore.
