Submitted by SteveMT on Fri, 02/27/2009 - 20:50On Friday, February 27, 2009, Security Savings Bank, Henderson, NV was closed by the Financial Institutions Division of the Nevada Department of Business and Industry and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) was named Receiver. No advance notice is given to the public when a financial institution is closed.
On Friday, February 27, 2009, Heritage Community Bank, Glenwood, IL was closed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Banking and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) was named Receiver. No advance notice is given to the public when a financial institution is closed.
