19 States do NOT have their own Republican Party Platform
After scrubbing the internet and searching every state party website, it seems that at best 30 states are acting more as sovereigns and develop their own ideas of freedom and liberty for individuals and at all levels of government.
The 19 who chickened out are listed first and as yellow on the map showing their scar splitting America. My research follows...

The Issues and Platform Committee of 11 to 19 members …will create platform on which legislative candidates and general officers can run … will use issues to define for voters what Republicans stand for and draw distinctions between Republicans and other parties …will develop talking points which party leaders, candidates and members can use to inform voters and the media.
Tennessee NONE Uses national. Republican Party of Tennessee’s motto is "Government of the People," WHICH IS from the definition OF DEMOCRACY. Republican definition remember is defined as preferring a republican form of government. So why is Lincoln's memorial made after a greek doric temple? Greek symbolizing Democracy... hmmm messed up from the beginning.
The map shows the yellow states that do not have any platform of grass roots republican creation, 19 in all, cutting the nation in half, with a few yellow states infecting the west. These yellow states either have no principles or just default to whatever the RNC tells them, or at best they have a single state officer or his handpicked committee creates their short set of beliefs.
I hope this forum can be expanded to more than just candidates but also party news and structure education.

Okies has a platform as of 2007. I think they create theirs in the off year.
But they do not have it posted on their www.okgop.com website, so I told them to put it for all to see.
Let's see if that happens.
So there are 18 States with no platform.

I recall during the election a couple of states, AZ for one, where the courts sided with the GOP over Ron Paul saying the GOP can make and break their own rules, which is why Ron Paul did not have a chance in hell in some states.
Seems to me, the only good a GOP platform does is controlling the sheep in the party.
How many so called Ron Paul Republicans sold out Ron Paul after months of shaming, ignoring, insulting, sabotaging rEVOLutionaires in the name of Ron Paul for a fucking concert ticket? GOP is toast. The fact that NOW, AFTER BUSH, they sound like Ron Paul... it's like Ron Paul says.. too little too late. You have more Canadians for the GOP than Americans. Go figure.

I'm thinking we need a list of principles at my local rec.
By the way, the gop has started sending people from the state to sit in on our rec meetings supposedly to give us advice & help ummm and make sure nothing out of the ordinary goes on *wink*.

The JRP needs to expand into those areas. It's interesting to see if the GOP has a real meltdown here. I am still on the fence whether the GOP can be hi-jacked in enough districts to bring about more libertarian values.
Currently there is representation in 5 states for the JRP. The JRP is the Jefferson Republican Party, which will focus on local issues and endorsing local officials. Currently,there are two elected officials in Alabama.
