There is no such thing as a " Peaceful Revolution "
Definitions of revolution on the Web:
* a complete change in government.
* the overthrow of a government by those who are governed.
The word " overthrow " in the definition of revolution limits the chances of a so called " Peaceful Revolution " .
There are people around the globe ( most of them innocent) that are fighting and dying because of the oppression by their governments. It is a horrible thing to imagine true revolution and most people in this country can not even imagine the true horrors of an all-out revolution. Most people here in the United States of America would have never dreamed that one day we would be contemplating a true revolution. As I stated before, people around the globe are fighting. This is not limited to just a few countries. The powers that be are not just after control of this country, this time they want the world... We the people of this country keep taking it up the a$$ again and again and we keep distracting ourselves with demonstrations, making little signs to protest and
thinking we can vote ourselves back to Freedom. We have lost this type of control over our government. This is no longer an option because they no longer care what we have to say…
Many people acrossed our nation choose to denie that true Revolution is our only option and argue that it is not yet time for self defense. I ask, when??? When will we stand up for our
Rghts and our Freedom??? When will we stand up for our Families and our Children who face government servitude and slow starvation??? We are loosing it all. We can no longer wallow in
our own self pity and denial. Our hesitation will force the battle to be bloodier than should have..
We must stand and UNITE to forcibly take back our republic… The sound of gun fire will awaken the rest of the sleeping …
Whether or not we believe in the propaganda of the NWO, 911, or whatever. We must all agree that they do have an agenda and without a doubt it involves oppression of the people...

and this ain't it. Until the majority of people are truly suffering and outraged by government's brutality and duplicity any act of rebellious violence would be seen in the same light as the Columbine massacre.

that by the time "the majority of people are truly suffering and outraged", the government will have declared martial law; for "our own good" you know, most of the people will abide by that in hopes that the government will save them, and it will be too late for any type of rebellion. People are just too uninformed.

I hate to say this, but a revolution by the people just won't happen. While the majority of citizens are probably very fed up at this point, they/we are a disorganized bunch. Plus, if a revolution - or some kind of takeover - were initiated, troops would stop it pretty quick.
The only hope on that issue is that maybe some enlightened General, or other high-ranking military officer, could engineer a military coup, dissolve Congress, oust the president and set up a temporary government until some kind of assessment could be taken. Then, maybe, we could go from there.
But as it stands now, I don't see it happening - no matter how bad things get.

I don't see anything happening now either. It seems that everytime I'd notice the government pulling a "fast one", I'd think, "this time the people won't take it anymore". Although people seem to be getting angered, to me it seems that there are many on the Christian right that want to force their values on everyone else, and many on the left are so accustomed to being divvied up into categories from which they can play victimhood, that even if there was a military coup to redeliver freedom to the people, the masses wouldn't want it; nonetheless recognize it.

Gain the upperhand by
not giving law enforcement an exuse to use violence on you. If you are not violent they just look really bad if they use violence against you. I believe firmly that there are peaceful protests/boycotts/tax revolts etc. that can be very effective. Start by pulling your money from the big banks that took bailout money, or refuse to participate in the stock market and 401k system. I also wrote a letter to Chrysler saying I wouldn't buy from them again if they took the govts. money (which probably would have had an effect if enough people did the same thing!). We hold the purse strings. They talk about us being this massive consumer base that makes the world go round, well then, use that to our advantage. We can buy things with gold or silver if someone is willing to trade. Try not using the dollar as much to boycott the federal reserve, maybe barter when you can and see what happens. These are just ideas but I think you understand my point anyway. What they want is violence. Violence leads to anarchy and anarchy is taken over by a group of people who gain power by restoring order. Do you want an unknown group of people running your life after the violence is over?

Really even if you could make a case I think it's irrelevant to our struggle and here's why:
I am not saying it's impossible but has anything peaceful we have done put us in an up trend on the freedom graph? Or are have we been on a down trend since at least 1913 and perhaps since the 1860's?
It seems to me the march to fascism/socialism has done nothing but continue forward and picked up great speed like a runaway train. How many more rally's, petitions, letter, phone calls, faxes, and fraudulent votes, etc. do you think it will take just to get the graph on a sustained up trend much less actually win our freedom?
Believe me I have never wished I was more wrong, but we have to face reality and the sooner the better.

If you believe in the Constitution,
you have a revolution by voting people out of office. That's the method of revolution that the Founders provided us. That's the Constitutional way of having a revolution. If the public doesn't vote them out of office, then there is not enough public support for revolution, and the public gets what it deserves.
A handful of DailyPaulers with guns storming the Capitol is not going to accomplish anything, except end your liberty and/or life really quick.

But a couple of factors need to be considered.
First, things are too far gone now to wait for the next election (congressional) and to get like-minded into office is an extreme long shot. As well, between now and the 2010 election the world is going to in far worse shape. We might not even have elections at that point - if there is marial law. It could happen.
Second, many of the the voting machines are corruptable. Not all, but enough to be fiddled with and skew the numbers. There is a long history of vote fraud in the U.S., going back to the 80s when Janet Reno was elected in Dade County, FL, with fake votes.

The Constitution was born of Revolution. The constitution does not forbid revolution neither can it, for it is a restriction on the federal government and not the people.
The Declaration of Independence illustrates the Peoples inherent right to alter or abolish government and set up new guards for their liberty. Mind you It is not because of the D of I that we have that right, it simply illustrates it, as an inherent right.

I am paraphrasing, but it was something very much like that.
Trouble is, the people have no power any more. It was lost long ago, around the time the FED and the CFR were created. We have been disenfrancised, and I don't see any easy solution to changing things.

Right - now tell me how are you going to do it? Good ideas don't mean much unless there is some kind of realistic plan.
The nation (and much of the world) is in free-fall. There is growing unemployment, bank and corporate closings, the markets are tanking, and the dollar is also likely to lose value to the Yen and the Euro. How does one fight these things? Are they evidence of tyranny, greed, ineptitude? Probably all of the above.
I think tyranny springs from a combination of ignorance and greed. How does one fight that?

They have an interesting take on the imprisonment of the American people since the civil war until this very day.

How do you keep
a revolution from being hijacked by different fractions. I to have grave concerns about what it going on and how quickly things are changing. Isn't there an old saying about hold fire till you see the white's of their eyes. We must not act out of fear but conviction. I babysit for a family where the little boy 9 years old has a picture of Obama over his bed. I think we have to let Obama show his hand before we show ours. Just my two cents.
