There never was a real draft
Anyone who ever claims they were drafted, is mistaking. They inadvertently volunteered.
1. Mr. A receives a "draft notice" and is told to report on a certain date to a certain place where he receives his physical and mental tests...then he
is classified with a number indicating whether he is A1(first called)...all the way down to 4F(unfit for duty).
2. Mr.A is told that he is to report for "induction" into the military and to appear at a certain military base for that purpose on a date specified.
3. By "LAW" he must appear there...or a warrant for his arrest will be issued.
4. Assuming he reports as directed he will have another brief physical and tests and then is told to "line up on the yellow line (painted on the floor)
5. A Recruiting Officer will then tell all those "joining the army (or whatever)to take one step forward...(Oh, oh, THOSE WHO DID THIS JUST
"VOLUNTEERED!")This is done so that no one can "legally" claim they were "forced into involuntary servitude!" "RAISE YOUR RIGHT HAND AND SWEAR ALLEGIANCE." (almost everyone does!...thinking it must be REQUIRED!): "I, (name) do solemnly swear that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of the United States of America and will defend it against all enemies foreign and domestic, and will obey the orders of the President and the officers appointed over me, so help me God."
6. Those who "voluntarily" stepped forward CANNOT NOW CLAIM THEY WERE"DRAFTED"...they stepped forward voluntarily and took the Oath voluntarily!
7. Assume Mr. B was smarter than Mr. A and HE DID NOT STEP FORWARD ANDTHEREFORE DID NOT TAKE THE OATH OF ALLEGIANCE. (the recruiter will probably say something like this: "what's the matter with you, don't you know what' step forward' means?" Mr. B responds, "sure I do, but I AM NOTVOLUNTEERING TO SERVE IN THE MILITARY...If you want me you must 'take me' against my will by force!"
8. All of those who "volunteered" will now be excused from the room...and the Mr. B will be cajoled with persuasive arguments...at first...then, when
nothing works to change his mind he will be called names and insulted, possibly even assaulted by one or more military people present there as
witnesses.
9.IF Mr. B does not weaken, stands his ground, eventually the tormentors will give up and have him arrested on some charge. However, there is NO
lawful way that they can MAKE him go into the military...because of the Constitutional prohibition against "involuntary servitude"...which is why NO
ONE IS TRULY EVER "DRAFTED" AND MUST BE "SEDUCED " INTO VOLUNTEERING!

and more importantly, only citizens of THE UNITED STATES are eligible for the Draft!! 99.9% of the people on the Daily Paul (in America) are NOT US CITIZENS, but instead "nationals" or "state nationals"
if you were born in one of the 50 states, and you reside in one of the 50 states, then you are a national and labeled 4-C Exempt for the draft
if you were born in D.C. or you are domiciled in D.C., you are a citizen.
although you may think it is just legal mumbo jumbo, the definition of Citizen is an important one to know.
Just like knowing if "truck" in a sign that reads "no trucks allowed" applies to your pickup truck!!

Much of the induction process involves filling out / papers and standing in lines. The important moment comes when you are taken to a large room for the actual induction ceremony. Everyone will be lined up and told to-*'\ step forward when their name is called. Don't take that step if you plan to refuse induction!
It is the act of stepping forward that constitutes induction. Contrary to popular belief, taking the oath of induction occurs after induction, and refusing to take the oath is punishable under military law, since you are already in the military by that time.
If you plan to refuse induction, you should not step forward when your name is called. Just to make sure that there is no question about it, you should also say out L loud that you refuse induction. There is no danger of anyone pushing you forward or anything like that; it is just that you want to make sure the officials understand what you are doing. Sometimes people in the Army aren't too bright.
If you refuse to take the step forward, an Army officer will probably take you quickly into a private room. After all, they don't want you infecting others with your weird ideas. You will likely be told the penalty for refusing induction is five years in jail and a two hundred fifty thousand dollar fine, that it is a federal felony offense, and that you will be sent to prison if you refuse induction. The Army will do everything in their power to scare you. Then, they will probably offer you another chance to step forward. I am sure we can all appreciate their thoughtfulness.
If you resist their efforts to get you to step forward, they will probably ask you to make or sign a statement that you have willfully refused induction. I strongly recommend that you refuse to make such a statement. If you do give such a statement, it is an admission or confession which can be used against you in a court of law. It is never a good idea to admit that you are guilty of any crime, at least not until you have consulted a lawyer.
After refusing induction you may be arrested. People are usually just told to go home, and that they will be contacted later, but every once in a while a person is actually taken from the induction center to the police station for booking. If you are arrested on the spot, you will probably be let go on your own recognizance after booking, unless the police have reason to think you may not show up, or unless they are in a bad mood. Being released without bail means they think they can trust you to show up for trial. However, just in case the police do decide to hold you, you should arrange for bail ahead of time. It would be a good idea for you to write the phone number of your lawyer, friend or bail bondsman on your arm with a ballpoint pen before induction. That way, even if the police take away your clothing and your wallet (a common booking procedure) you will still have the phone number handy.

The Supreme Court long ago denied the draft is involuntary servitude. The Court's argument is absurd and disgraceful but nevertheless is the law on this issue. Further, many people were convicted and imprisoned for failure to comply with draft law requirements during the Vietnam War, two of whom I know.
The following paragraph is the sum total of everything the Supreme Court has said as to allegation that the draft is an unconstitutional violation of the prohibition against involuntary servitude:
The Supreme Court in the Selective Draft Law Cases, 245 U.S. 366 (1918). The Court’s analysis, in full,
of the Thirteenth Amendment issue raised by a compulsory military draft was the
following: ‘‘As we are unable to conceive upon what theory the exaction by government
from the citizen of the performance of his supreme and noble duty of contributing
to the defense of the rights and honor of the nation, as the result of a war
declared by the great representative body of the people, can be said to be the imposition
of involuntary servitude in violation of the prohibitions of the Thirteenth
Amendment, we are constrained to the conclusion that the contention to that effect
is refuted by its mere statement.’’
Yep, that's it. Its your "supreme and noble duty" to submit to slavery. And as to the involuntary servitude allegation - that it "is refuted by its mere statement" - clearly means the fact one complains about being enslaved means one has not been enslaved.
Is it any wonder I'd like to dance on the graves of those traitors on the Court.

The Arver decision is one of the low points in judicial
construction/analysis in the court's history. The phrasing used demonstrates that, in the court's view, the requirements of the 13th amendment could somehow be glibly set aside by viewing such forced servitude as a "supreme and noble duty" (for men but not women) or for the purpose of defending the "rights and honor" of some collective entity called a "nation". The decision is conspicuously void of any genuine legal analysis in terms of the 13th amendment. Anyone who thinks that such conscription is not involuntary is invited to decline to volunteer the next time conscription becomes operational.

Where am I coming from?
I coached draft age kids on obtaining conscientious objector status in the late 70's, and felt I did my small part in getting the draft 'laws' overturned.
Draft age kids grow up in communities, that most of them stay in touch with other members of the communities for life. In many cases business owners in the communities hire kids, coach kids, and in general spend lots of time trying to give kids of all ages a good start in life before draft age.
The draft basically forces kids who disobey to break a federal law, which makes it a federal crime which stays with a kid for their whole life.
If they decide to take your advice, in later life this black mark stays with a person whenever they apply for a job.
Employers face the choice of hire-ing a person with no criminal record, or a person with a criminal record. Employers, in most cases will hire the person with no record, rather than the applicant with a police record.
I would suggest anyone reading who has a draft age kid as a loved one to read up on "How to Obtain Conscience Objector Status," to avoid the draft:

The Vietnam War era was the last draft. Through out the US war effect, thousands of young men ignored and refused to be a part of that military draft. They were ALL sought out by the FBI, tried, and sentenced to prison for refusal.

As a mother and grandmother, the hardest thing would be for me to see my daughter, or grandson when he grows up, be forced to do anything against their will.
I tried to raise my daughter to NEVER TRUST GOVERNMENT or the NWO..but shes grown..married..a mom herself..I hope the lessons stuck is what I wish I could say..but she works for the state...(in a hospital type place for those who are retarded but still she takes orders..and shots..and soon maybe getting chipped because the state tells her too)
