Rush is out for Rush
Unfortuately, to make propaganda for his show, Rush too readily sacrifices the long-term interests of the legitimate right.
be wary of pollster and the political punditry
Top Democrats believe they have struck political gold by depicting Rush Limbaugh as the new face of the Republican Party, a full-scale effort first hatched by some of the most familiar names in politics and now being guided in part from inside the White House.
The strategy took shape after Democratic strategists Stanley Greenberg and James Carville included Limbaugh’s name in an October poll and learned their longtime tormentor was deeply unpopular with many Americans, especially younger voters. Then the conservative talk-radio host emerged as an unapologetic critic of Barack Obama shortly before his inauguration, when even many Republicans were showering him with praise.
Soon it clicked: Democrats realized they could roll out a new GOP bogeyman for the post-Bush era by turning to an old one in Limbaugh, a polarizing figure since he rose to prominence in the 1990s.

We have to look beyond the talking head, and take a sober consideration of the forces arrayed against us. This is not just about Shuster - it's much more. This "Rush plan" goes as high as the Obama administration. Liberal outlets, such as Americans United for Change, and, apparently, the media were used to disseminate their propaganda.
It seems to me that the whole goal of the MSM is not an honest and frank debate about significant moments, but to manipulate us into their deception. Obviously, the Clintonistas are up to their ol' bag of tricks, just like the trivial school uniform debate that came up during the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

Seeing Rush Limbaugh at CPAC was definitely the highlight of the conference.
He looked fabulous in black. With his thinning blonde hair, his black shirt half unbuttoned, and a fresh face that literally glowed in the moment he was in rare form to equal his silver-tongued delivery.
The more animated he became the greater were the cheers and screams from those in attendance. He brought the crowd to near orgasmic frenzy as he bounced up and down on his oft ridden sybian-saddled hobbyhorse of his political axe. Without a doubt this was some of the best political porn I have ever witnessed, bar none. I am still left breathless….

"Congressman, congressman,
I can't talk to you if you are going to talk about important issues."
That was a six year old trying to corner a 50 year old to bring him into the "stupid" debate.
Good description.

Steele, like Obama are just a couple of porch cats in suits. Steele forced to apologize to the fascist Rush, just as Obama who while continues to criticize Bush, supports his policies of trashing the Constitution, supporting the Patriot Act, lifting Habeas Corpus, feeding the FED, big government spending, warring and globalization. How ironic that both lackeys for the man are black and the only thing separating the fascist names are the letters R&B.

The important thing to remember is that Dr. Paul is getting alot of short interviews on these cable news shows giving him great opportunity to hit on his talking points with free airtime. Something is happening here I mean Ron is on tv with regularity so maybe we should ease up a bit on judging guys like Shuster, in my opinion they are allowing our guy to be the face and voice of the Republican Party now.
Dr. Paul=ratings
let up if you wish, but understand the reason.
Sombody jerked Steele chain
Sombody jerked Steele chain and made him crawl on his knees and bow down to Rush.
Steele the party Chair. What a joke.
All I remember him for is when he said "Ron Paul is done", in the first debate.
Rush is to Politics WHAT Jim and Tammy Baker are to Religion.
It's actualy hard to beleive that there is a large seqment of our population that listens to that crap, but there is and thats one of the problems with this country.
It's OUR job to try and change that mindset.

This guy seemed quite on the offensive.
I loved it when he asked RP if Rush was head of the Republican party and RP answered simply, "no". This guy acted like he didn't quite know what to do with himself.
Seems to me he made a fool out of himself when he came back at RP with this ridiculous question, "He's not?"
He went up against the wrong guy. :)
Great job RP.
Shuster is
such an arrogant, pompous hack. He has nothing of substance to talk about, and no knowledge of anything but gossip. I think he deserves his spot on a soap opera.
I wonder if Shuster goes home and says to his mommy, " did you see me on the tv today? I got to ask a respected Congressman and Doctor whether Rush Limbaugh was the head of the Republican Party"
As ususal, Ron chewed him up and spit him out.
The worst show on MSNBC, and

Bless that little man with his BIG ...
understanding of what is relevant and what is not! He absolutely mastered the interview. BRAVO, DR. PAUL!!!
Limbaugh is a lot like limburger cheese - They both smell, with a couple of exceptions: The difference being that the real cheese tastes better with a bolder flavor, while Limbaugh is just plain cheesy as was the fake confrontation that the reporter was trying to draw Dr. Paul into!

I think Shuster is too stupid to feel stupid
If he were smart enough to know he is stupid, then he would feel stupid, but he sure did look stupid.
Thank you Dr. Paul for making me act on what I already knew was right.

Shuster is a troll
MSNBC's claim to journalism doesn't help when they have these hacks on their show. Let's look at Brezinski's daughter, and Andre Mitchell, c'mon, Greenspan's wife. It's a bit weird to see Mitchell talk about the economy when she knows it's her husband who orchestrated the financial collapse.
It's amazing that Shuster would interview Ron Paul, since he's attacked Ron Paul, calling him a "nutcase" and "al queda."

Or when Shuster went after Ron Paul for stating the truth about Lincoln's horrible effect on the country.

I think everyone agrees that the MSM is weak for going after these side stories - Limbaugh vs. the GOP. Hmmm, why do Americans hate the media? Because they try to dumb us down with their inanity. Shuster is a hack and could, quite legitimately, be called an obamafascist, along with Olbermann.

Rush as leader and Shuster as hack
When I said Shuster could be an obamafascist, I wasn't being literal, but apparently, it's a pretty accurate term.

Rahm Emmanuel may have had a hand in devising this politcial spin; linking Limbaugh to Republicans, thus to our dear doctor, Mr. Paul. Shuster may have been sent to tarnish Paul's image, but, like I said, it was rather weak.

Beware Rush Limbaugh.
Once again Dr. Paul is right on the money.
The Limbaugh vs. Steele "debate" has all the relevance and intellectual content of your average professional wrestling match.
His answer is quite appropriately," Un-ask that question".
As far as Limbaugh's "leadership" role, Ron dismisses that at once.
The Conspiracy is very adept at saddling their opposition with "leaders" that have feet of clay.
Limbaugh is a prime example.
He says enough of the right things to make people think he is one of us.
Right now he is speaking a lot of truth about the economy and Obama's race toward socialism.
But his abrasive style turns a good number of people off who otherwise would be OUR allies in the fight for smaller government and individual liberty.
And he consistently either comes down on the wrong side or is MIA when it comes to the truly CRITICAL issues at the CRITICAL times.
He has had a pulpit to reach millions of American voters for years.
He could have criticized Bush when he started looting the treasury and gutting the Constitution.
He could have endorsed Ron Paul when it would have made a difference before the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire.
This is classic Conspiracy tactics. Force a "leader" on us who is right just often enough to fool the ignorant and uncritical public. But when it comes crunch time he will lead us into disaster.
Beware the MSM (or the RNC!) when they promote "leaders" for the GOP.
Bobby Jindal is guilty until proven innocent as far as I am concerned.
But I already know enough about Limbaugh to smell a very large rat. (Pun intended.)

leaders with feets of clay
We do have to be wary of these leaders being foisted on us, especially by the MSM and the beltway Repubs. Totally agree with the Jindal analysis. Another false leader coming would be Eric Cantor, rep. from Virginia. He's been breaking into the media, with assistance, I'm, assuming, from AIPAC, deluging the MSM with press releases, and worse, producing an updated "contract with America" with Gingrich.

Rush "loves Ron Paul"
Rush just said on his program 5 minutes ago: "I love Ron Paul...he stands for freedom."
He also said that Dr. Paul is not presidential material.
Rush just another chickenhawk neocon...forget that windbag.
I thought him saying "I love
I thought him saying "I love Ron Paul" to an audience of that size might be a good thing.
