Please co-sponsor and/or support H.R.1207, an effort to
audit the Federal Reserve.
Recently, it has come to light that there is little to no
accountability to the people on the part of the Federal
Reserve. While the citizens of this country are required
by law to give an accounting of every penny they come
in contact with, the Federal Reserve has never been
held to the same standard. During this time of extreme
economic crisis, the people deserve an accounting of
where our money is going.
Currently there are 11 co-sponsors for this legislation,
and it is enjoying bi-partisan support. Your efforts in
supporting this important legislation would go a long way
in proving to your constituents that you not only hold the
Federal Reserve to the same standard as you do your constituents, but it would also show that you believe in transparency. Anything less than support for this resolution suggests that you are in favor of secrecy and a lack of accountability to the people who pay the bills. We pay the
tab; we have a right to know where our money is going.
Unlike recent bills that you voted in favor of that had
hundreds of pages and just a few hours to read, this
bill can be read in under 5 minutes. I encourage you to
take the time to read it, and then move to support it.

Whereas: The Federal Reserve refuses to give a public accounting of the TRILLIONS in recent taxpayer-backed loans and fiat money pumped into the banking system; and
Whereas: Congress has the responsibility to force a public audit of the Federal Reserve, and the American people deserve to know how their tax dollars are being spent and the currency inflated; and
Whereas: Allowing the Fed to remain out of control and shrouded in secrecy clearly allows for abuse and the continued stealing of our tax dollars; and
Whereas: The Federal Reserve System itself leads to constant economic crises like the current housing crisis and the resulting chaos; and
Whereas: The Federal Reserve System forces fuel, food, housing, medical care, and education costs upward, meaning that everyone who is NOT on the government dole is forced to make do with less as the value of their money slowly decreases; and
Whereas: History shows us that riots, violence, and the full-scale police states can result when people finally realize fiat money isn't worth the paper it's printed on and REFUSE to accept it;

I have called and left message for the Chief of Staff of my Congressman at each of his offices, emailed his Press Secretary, and personally called Legislative Aid.
I have posted my letter to my Congressman on all of my local newspapers and contacted the director of every editor of our newspapers as well as the news stations out here in Cleveland.
I have sent an email to everyone I know to support this legislation.
The People are getting restless you see and if they respond to our petitions with repeated injury I fear the People will become violent.

Contacted my Representative Dana Rohrabacher. I like Dana, he voted against the bailouts and he is extremely fiscally conservative. There are a lot of Ron Paul supporters in Lon Beach and I think he recognizes that.
